Lol, pumpkin carving can take awhile, especially if you get those annoyingly thick pumpkins that it takes forever to cut through and you're trying to make something remotely intricate. What did you carve out of them though, just generic faces or did you go for something more Rose-ish and try for a unique design? I'm glad though that it did the trick with your mother.

Not much to report on for me, just chilling in Siena, go to Rome tomorrow so should be quite fun there. More of an active city and more things to see and do.

Anyway pumpkin carving.. kinda did generic faces... but ive done origional ones in years gone by... for example ,i used one of those weird melon-ballers (who the hell actually ivented them?) and covered it in loads of holes so it glowed all over.

Anyway, im loving my new job, and there is a guy there called bernie who is great fun, and hes send me a wall post asking if i'll go to some fireworks with him monday night, should be a laugh. ^_^

As for today.. im attempting to finally write my personal statement for uni >_< its harder than you think.

Sounds like ya having a good time Engel, ya can ditch my towell and shoes if ya really need to. I'll just have to buy new ones. What shirt was it though? I thought I brang all them back... unless it was mah yellow one, havnt seen that in a while... Liked that shirt aswell. Please dont ditch it... wear it even... aslong as ya dont stretch that shit.

Sounds like ya having a good time with ya new job and halloween there rose. Sorry to hear how things are going for ya gramps, there isnt much else that I can say on that subject that wont just get repeated so I just hope that things end up peaceful for him.

As for me, being back at home is proving to be a bit of a downer after travelling. I've had all the catch up with my mates and some fun in the clubs meating some nice girlies but its all just back into the same routine. Quite a dissapointment really. Added to that I've some how messed up my right wrist (yes laugh it up with the wankers cramp jokes. I certainly have been!) Something about how the 'sheath' that the tendon in my arm moves in is rusted and so everytime it stretchs is grinds. Sort of like jacking off with a piece of sandpaper I guess.

I need something new to spice up the couldran, on the look out for a new job and its coming into summer so there will be some great times to be had. Other then that there is a nice girly on the horizans if I play my cards right... and being the well rounded traveller that I am that might just be a good possibility ;]

lol, its an english thing. No one else gets it. Watch the film V for Vendetta .. it kinda explains it vaguely in a fucked up kinda way. lol. Basically some bloke (guy fawkes) tried to blow up parliment aaaages ago.. now every year on the 5th of november.. we have bonfire night.. and burn a scarecrow type thing, which represents the dude.... its just an excuse to get hammered and have fireworks. YAY!
