I haven't played Pokémon much recently, just owning the Pokémon League with my level 100 Mewtwo on Diamond for some quick cash, but that's about it. Still got to complete my own copy of Pearl too though, which I've had for nearly a year and only up to the fourth gym.

Also, anyone seen the latest game Pokémon Platinum? So far, I'm not really interested, I am eagerly awaiting a Gold/Silver remake.

I remember all of the fun I had by not letting any of my Pokemon evolve. Ah, good times.

At least in the harder games, especially if you face an opponent with a bad Pokemon type. I love Pokemon, but I'd rather not bore you with my love for the franchise...well mainly the manga and games (I despise the latter anime seasons).

I first owned blue and beat it, it was stolen in school. I was lucky enough that a friend gave me a Gameboy SP with four games, one of those was Pokemon Ruby. I'm building a pretty good team, main Pokemon are the new grass type (the starter) and Aggron (I think that's the name, second form not final form). I use the daycare to the max, training my pokemon while my other pokemon are being trained as well. The Pokemon Leage in Fire Red is no fucking joke dude....and they get stronger the second time you fight them. I want everyone to try that and see what happens. :p

So a gold remake is being made? For what system and do you have any details? If so please pour.

I love all the Pokemon games for the handhelds. Even Rangers. It's awesome they're remaking Gold & Silver. I'll definitely be getting one of 'em.

So Raven, are you now playing Ruby or Diamond/Pearl? If Ruby, the grass starter is Treecko (evolutions being Grovyle->Sceptile) and if Diamond/Pearl the grass starter is Turtwig (evolutions being Grotle->Torterra). Also, Aggron is the final form of the Aron evolution line, the second form is Lairon.

Goddamn.

I'm playing Emerald now, here is my team.

Sceptile lv.55(Leaf Blade, Screech, Cut, Slam)

Aggron lv.50 (Shockwave, Strength, Iron Tail, Iron defense)

Flygon lv.50 (Dig, Dragon Breath, Fly, Crunch)

Exploud lv.55 (Stomp, Hyper Beam, Rock Smash, N/A)

Gyarados lv.50 (Flamethrower, Thunderbolt, Surf, Bite)

Thoughts?

I just beat the gym leaders from Mosdeep, I still have room for one extra pokémon? Which one do you recommend? I thought about having a Dusclop because its dual type Ghost/Dark makes him have no weakness. I was also thinking about getting Ralts so I could get a Gardevoir but my team lacks speed and I believe Gardevoir is slow. I would need an electric type to kick Wallace all up and down but I believe Sceptile will do just fine. Also, I would like to have a Manectric but he doesn't seem that good.
