The only thing i dont like about this game is those god-damn flying fucking rats, i mean theres 200 of the bastards, practically everytime you shoot them you get a wanted level and then after the long hours you spent killing them all what do you get?? Two frikkin crappy helicopters!!!
Other than that and a few other more minor annoyances, GTA4 is the ultimategame and people who argue with the 10/10 rating because it isnt perfect should realise that no game will ever be perfect. Hell GTA5 will probably end up putting this game to shame because gamer technology just keeps on improving so fast.

lol, nah i havnt killed all the pidgeons yet, i've killed around 40 so far but i'm a completionest so i will probably have them done within a months time( i've done everything else). I probably made it sound like i had killed them all in my last post i guess.
As for why it should get the full 10/10 - as i said, no game will ever be perfect but since at the moment this game is viewed by many as the best game in the world right now it still deserves the full ten marks.

So anyone after they beat the game go back an play it again, a couple of my friends have beat it and dont want to play it any more, i now I'll go back and do some of the cop missions and other mini games. But some people beat the game and say, im done lets go play Mario Kart now or something....

i know i'l definately play it again, its an awesome game and i havnt even played online yet. Hell i've played all the final fantasy games about 5 times each - if you like a game you dont just play it once, right?

The main storyline is approximately 30 hours long. There aren't many people who beat a game that lengthy, and then turn right around to beat it again.

I say this game is about a 8/10.But when you said "Super Smash, Zelda OOT, or Resident Evil " Its not like those games are any better.SS is to repetitive,Zelda is a good game but its kinda like a one time play game,and RE is good but again its kinda like a one time only game to me

From the comments here, this game seems like just the same old shit we've been playing since GTAIII. No difference in the gameplay. Just the same game, with better graphics in a new city each time.

Which means, if I have GTAIII, Vice City, San Andreas, and Liberty City Stories, exactly why would I have to play GTAIV? What does it have that the others don't?

Unless there's something major, there is no need for a "perfect score".

^its is, but I mean most sequels do this, some like Zelda from 2D to 3D are big different but most sequels are the same game but just better graphics's like Resident Evil 4 to 5.

@SRP76-Yeah there nothing "major" but enhanced graphics are one good thing.And more realistic looking is another(Walking around with a chainsaw and Katana aren't gonna work).Online mode is great,to me, and another great story.

The only real difference I've noticed is the graphics. And the odd little features. But overall I don't think it ranks as best game eva suckerz!
