LordMe informed me that the bran new Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of the Patriots will "only" be released on the PS3, as its only exclusive to the Playstation 3. To day I was informed by my college colleague, as I informed him I was going to purchase a Playstation 3, that its coming out on the Xbox360, a month later. I could probably complete it in that time. Is this true? *Too lazy to google*

I wouldn't rule out MGS4 on the 360, but it wouldn't come out for a while, and it'd be a different edition, like MGS2 Substance, which came out on xbox after MGS2 had been a PS2 exclusive. MGS3 Subsistence was only on PS2 though, so who knows...

Kane & Lynch upsets me...I downloaded the demo, because I loved Freedom Fighters on the PS2, which is in a way a precursor to this game, but it didn't live up to my expectations, although I had known for a while it wouldn't be too good, the press had been saying so for a while...this type of gameplay belongs in the last-gen

You mean Freedom Fighters/Kane&Lynch, right? I doubt there'll be another Freedom Fighters, maybe Kane&Lynch because although it didn't critically perform well, it seems to have sold all right

As for MGS, it's supposed to be the last one, but who knows, anything could happen

Is Kane & Lynch the successor of Freedom Fighters? I thought it was from the creators of Hitman

MGS2 was ported so more people could see Kojima's work. No one really liked it. And Kojima said ported was a hasstle to do. So MGS will now be exclusive.

They're all made by IO, I think they're from Denmark

@ Lordme - please don't kill my foolish hopes, MGS4 and whatever comes from Team ICO are the only PS3 games that interest me, and I don't want to have to shell out for a PS3 when I've already got a 360...maybe I'll do it in a few years, or buy one when I go to live in Japan next year
