Even if the Wii is winning in sales, the popularity of the PS3 seems to be better if it sold more than the Wii off the bat. It's just that the Wii had more stock to shift than the PS3 thus selling more in the long run.

But the fact is still, the Wii cannot handle Final Fantasy XIII. It isn't possible. The game would have to suffer a serious downgrade to meet the console's capabilities. Plus, anyway, the Wii already has an exclusive Final Fantasy coming out for it meeting it's criteria.

Yes. But Sony hate Europe and won't allow any major retailers, online or offline, to offer importing. Basically if your in Europe, you can't import games because Sony said so and if companies do allow importing, they will get sued and end up like Lik-Sang.com...*Sniff*, i miss you Lik Sang....
But if your outside Europe, then everything is fine and you can import whatever you like. In Europe? We get canned.
So yeah..the PS3 is multi regional all over the world, but it's a bitch for us Europeans to import.

As soon as Sony father Ken Kutaragi stepped down and left the company, the second hand man Kaz "Riiiidge Racer" Hirai took the throne and immediately planned a production of the Playstation 4, 5 and 6.
I mean, daym. I also wonder what would happen if Nintendo took on Ken Kutaragi into their team because then you would have a Nintendo Boss and a Sony boss working together.

I think this "PS4"is going to be like the 360 and the Elite. Nah Sony's just hit road block, I don't think it's the end but hell I think it's a good sign to them that there not going to be on top forever and that they need new ideas.

O_o wow what BS, if the PS4 comes out next Christmas I wonder who it will do. But I mean this shows that Nintendo is the only company that sticks with its fans and products to the end, I mean did the GC did the best? No but did they just give up and screw you if you had there system and force you to buy a new system.

One problem that I have with the PS3 is it's lack of edxclusive games. Only counting the ones that actually matter, God Of War 3 and Kingdom Hearts 3 are the only real exclsives. Using OFFICAL sources, I've knocked down all the games that were potenailly PS3-exclusive:
Grand Theft Auto IV: Xbox 360 as well as PS3

Devil May Cry 4: Also Xbox 360, PS3 and PC exclusive.

Metal Gear Solid 4: Also Xbox 360.

Resident Evil 4: AGAIN, it's Xbox 360 and PS3 exclusive.

Tomb Raider 8 or 9 (Depends on your views) : Considing that Tomb Raider Legend was made for the PS2, PSP, Xbox, Xbox 360, Gamecube, Nintendo DS, GBA, and most Mobile Phone, I think it's safe to say that Legend 2 will be made on every console imaginable.

Final Fantasy Xlll and Versues Xll: Square Soft DID annouce that the next FF was to be made for the 360 as well as the PS3, it's obvious that it will be made for the 360, but they might change their minds or something, I dunno.

Even not-so-popular games like Virtua Fighter are making their appearances on the 360, the only game (S) that are popular that is on the PS3 is Tekken 5, since we don't have enough info on GOW 3, GT 5 and KH 3 yet. Opposed to the Nintendo Wii (which has Super Paper Mario, Super Mario Galaxy, Metriod Prime 3, and Super Smash Brawl and many more popular games) the PS3's selection of popular games is small. Don't even get me started comparing the Xbox 360 to the PS3.

^Yeah I mean thats why I think the wii will win becuase it has more exclusive games than the 360 or PS3, Plus the fact the games are cheaper and the online is free plus the VC.
While the PS3 has only games like Kill Zone 2 and Lair when neither games are going to be really that great. Also the PS3 elite clone is BS, fucking make one system then wait 5 years we don't need add ons.

Okay, so out of curiosity, what is there so special about God of War 2 Special Edition?
I didn't find anything "special" after a quick look. Maybe my ability of observation just failed me.
Also, about the PlayStation 4... surely, this does not spell an end to Sony.

I'm pretty sure MGS4 is still exclusive to the PS3. Only MGS2 came out on xbox, MGS3 never appeared, which tells you something. Although things could change if sales are poor, it could be similar to what happened with RE4.

I'm not suRe how I feel about that, since I was a dedicated sony man, but I had an urge for a 360, and now that games like Assassin's Creed and RE5 are on 360, I see little reason to get a PS3 except for MGS4 and whatever comes out of the sony team that made Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. Maybe I'll get one in a couple of years.

Consoles are becoming more akin to PCs, xbox was basically a computer in a box, and with the hard drives and stuff, add-ons and upgardes aren't much of a surprise. I think we're almost at an end to new generations of console hardware.

^why does MG4 need to be just on the PS3 its the worst of the 3 new systems it has sold only about 3 million while the 360 has about 10 million sold. If the MG4 game makers want money they need to put it on a system that people want and sells not just stay with a crappy system no one wants and costs more.
