Simple question. Who do you want right now, and who would you want to build a franchise around?

Lebron James he seems a better team leader and doesn't hog the ball as much as Bryant does.

If I had to play a game tomorrow, I would choose Kobe Bryant. But, it would only be because of his amazing jumpshot. If I had to build a franchise, I would take LeBron, as he can fill more positions.

EDIT: ya I know nothing about pro basketball, football is better, as in American football not soccer.

Kobe is an all around better player. He can defend, score, and do shoot his ass off. Lebron is up there, don't get me wrong; just not on Kobe's plateau yet.

I should have phrased that carefully.

Lebron James took his team to the NBA Finals. Without Lebron, the Cavs don't make the playoffs.

For right now Kobe is the man. He is still in his prime, and the lakers are doing outstanding right now. A few years from now, Lebron will be the man.
