Apparently this will be in theaters for 2 days in the US on May 20th and 21st.

Any1 gonna go see it?

Yeah thats the same in UK. I won't go to see it as I already tried to watch the first one and couldn't as it was so bad.

From what I've seen of the movie on Youtube, it's pretty mediocre. None of the actors look like the characters, like, at all, and L looks/sounds dopey and retarded. It can only get worse with a dub.

Plus, the theaters are going to be packed with Melvins. No thanks- I think I'll wait for the DVD.

^most likely select city's any anime related movies are only in like 100 theaters in the US. I really wish they'd make the American Death Note Movie.
