The American Godzilla was only brought in for like, 15 seconds basically just to get his ass handed to him in two moves by the omega-powered-zenkai-stealing Japanese Godzilla. If you think about it toho was gertting back at the US for making godzilla so pitiful so they had the real godzilla own him

Yeah, that's what I'm pretty sure happened, though it makes me mad (but when I'm watching it with friends I put aside the seriousness and just enjoy the superpwning Godzilla puts on Zilla, lol).

Toho GAVE them the rights to the movie and URGED them to make it. A bad move on their part. Even though the movie was good, the movie itself shouldn't be called Godzilla (Any suggestions for other possible names, make them good to, not now SUPER CRAPPY GOJIRA MOVIE)

Beast From 10,000 Leagues Under the Sea...lol, long title but it fits. I don't know, if they took out the beginning with the mutation of the initial iguana, it'd fit perfectly.

I seriously doubt toho knew we (the us) would turn their monster so awful when they gave rights to the movie.

oh sad part about the owning of silly is that toei didnt make zilla breathe fire on godzilla. That would have been funny to see godzilla just walk through flames.

They made Gino more of a Raptor/Iguana instead of the Gojira's T-Rex/Stegosaurus look.
