YouTube - The Dark Knight Trailer

Here is the first real, Dark Knight Trailer. I don't want to get my hopes up (after Spiderman 3) but this looks pretty good.

Well, it isn't due for another 7.5 months...

It looks good, and I like the new interpretation of the Joker (sort of returning to his roots as a gangster.) I'm pretty sure it won't be bad, because it's not full of villians like Spiderman 3 was. Christian Bale and Heath Ledger are fine actors, as well. It'll be a great movie just as long as the story has substance.

One of the big problems that Spider-man 3 had in my opinion was shoving too many storylines into a single movie, and sacrificed time to properly fill out those stories to their entirety to just fit them all together. That's the same major issue I had with X3, fitting three storylines into a single movie and "trying" to blend them together to work.

I enjoyed the original Batman, but I feel that as a whole Batman Begins was a better movie. It had a very realistic feel to it (helped in part by the movie explaining all of the equiptment), and did a much better job dwelving into Bruce's inner turmoil and his reasons behind being Batman. Also, Batman Begins made you believe that Batman could actually kick your ass, which is something that even the original didn't do very well.

I couldn't have said it better myself. Personally, I think Spiderman 3 would have been a much better movie if they only had the Sandman as a villain. Venom and the symbiote could have been saved for Spiderman 4.

It seems as though I'm the only person who actually LIKED Spiderman 3.

And hate the Joker. The best Batman Villian is Blight from Batman Beyond. AWESOME show. Too bad Terry doesn't get a movie.

It's called Batman of the Future or some crap here, and yeah, I wouldn't mind seeing a live-action version of it myself.
