I've only seen a few of the godzilla films but i've gotta say that mecha-kinghidorah was bad ass i mean he actually beat godzilla so bad that they had to make mecha-godzilla then use a pilot to control him.

Mecha King Ghidorah also had a pilot, and was far more damaged in the end of their fight than Gojira was. He blew holes in its wings, damaged its power systems, and shrugged off most of its attacks. The Gojira Grips and Machine Hand were the only ones that had some effect on him, and even then they were more for the sake of restraint than destruction.

Gojira was chuckin' around multiple full-grown Kaijuu in their strongest incarnations, then Kaiser Ghidorah comes along and shitstomps Gojira in the streets. It takes being hurled into the magnetosphere and vaporized with a massive atomic blast to kill him.

Also, I remember seeing some interview or something with the creator, saying he wanted to make Gojira have his greatest enemy ever in his "final" film, or something like that. This totally might be my mind playing tricks on me, but I could swear...

Size wise - Heisei - Ghidorah has the power to defeat him. And if you looked at a Kaiser Ghidorah Action Figure, there is min hand coming out of his but. Now what's the use of that, really.

Lol, I'm not gonna argue over structural design of Daikaijuu.

But size-wise, Kaiser Ghidorah was definitely as big as Heisei King Ghidorah, at least. I mean, he was like three times Gojira's size.

KG (GFW) - 140 meters

The thing is though is that size means little in overall regards to a kaiju's strength, as the Heisei King Ghidorah was 140 meters tall, yet was felled by Gojira rather easily, while the 120 meter tall Space Gojira took far more force for Gojira to bring down, eventually resorting to siphoning Space Gojira's very energy to unleash surges of his Spiral Heat atomic breath. Size alone doesn't dictate superior strength otherwise Gojira would basically have never won.

The Heisei Ghidorah from the Mothra series is actually more often known as Cretaceous King Ghidorah (in order to avoid being confused with the Heisei Ghidorah from the Gojira series, since they have notably different origins), since Mothra Leo traveled back in time to the Cretaceous period to destroy him, because his more evolved state (the Grand King Ghidorah) was far too powerful for him to fight.

Ummm, both are quadrapeds. It's not as noticeable for Keizer Ghidorah, but the concept art for him shows that he has 4 legs.
