I dunno if they're slipping up after they lost their leading scorer, Franzen, to a minor concussion, or they're just not playing their best.

If Dallas can tie the series in the next game, game 7 will be very hard for Detroit. It's their series to lose and losing, 3-0 lead will certainly add some extra mental pressure to them. And they would play the game 7 in front of their home crowd, who excepts nothing more than a place in finals. They (players) are all professionals, but all that pressure has to affect somehow.

Finals: Detroit - Pittsburgh... So, no suprises after all. Meh... it's whatever to me, which one takes the cup. But if I had to bet, I'd say Pittsburgh.

Pittsburg was pounding a weaker team though, so they need to step u to face the Wings or I'll see a 5-6 game series, and that's about it

Lidstrom is THE best defensemen in the league right now. Lidstrom has 500+ assists as of 2003. He's an awesome player.

He's top 5-10 of all time among D men. Never said he wasn't a great player, I said he won't win cause he's european no european captain won the cup before.

Wow that's two possible huge stories for the NHL this year - Crosby wins with 'C' at 20, or Lidstrom first European Captain to win a cup.

Good year for the league as well, to capture more casual viewers I mean. Detroit and Pittsburgh are very skilled teams.

Should Babckock put Zetterberg on the 2nd line and Datsyuk on the first? Pittsburgh has two solid line with primal centers in both lines. Crosby and Malkin are probably the best centers in the league. Zetterberg plays on the wing but both him and Datsyuk are natural center, so is it possible we see them on different lines so Datsyuk can play against Dupuis-Crosby-Hossa and Zetterberg plays against Sykora-Malkin-Malone? It might be a good idea, if the 1st line consisting of Zets and Datsyuk is used to stop the 1st line of Pittsbrugh, Malkin will just crush the other lines with himself alone. They still have good D's like Lidstrom, Rafalski, Krowall etc. That might not be a HUGE problem.
