It appears to me that there isn't any threads here devoted to books. If there is and I just didn't notice it, I'm sorry. Anyways, I was curious to some of your favorite books. Some of my favorite books are "The Godfather", "Primal Fear", "Fargo Rock City", "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest", most Tolstoy books/stories, most Jack London books/stories, and for some reason I love those cheesy western novels, specifically by William Johnston, and many other books that I'll probably remember later and regret not mentioning.

I love most of the books by Gary Paulsen.
I would like to read Johnny Got his Gun, it is on my mental list of stuff to read. (Since I am planning on becoming a lawyer which requires a lot of reading)

I've heard Johnny Got his Gun is suppose to be really good, at least thats what one of my friends told me, and I've actually been planning on reading it too, so if you do read it let me know how it is.

The book/movie was also the influence for Metallica song One, and the music video has some scenes from the movie in it.

Animal Farm was good but I think I actually like the book better, because in the movie I just could not get past the point that animals are talking and are smart enough to do all of the things they did.

The Seventh Tower is a pretty good book. Though the triple set is better than the individual books since you can imagine what the characters look like rasther than seeing crap people. Another would have to be Little Bunny FuFu. No one can diss that book no matter how old. >_> I've read multiple books to though. The one I'm currently (trying) to read is Sun-Tzu: The Art of Warfare.

Sun-tzu: Art of warfare was not a fun book to read, but that dude was a freakin' genius. I read it just to try to learn some of that military strategies stuff. I don't remember much of the book, cause it took my like 3 months to read it, along with reading many books in between, so it was kind of pointless. But if you are interested in military strategies, I'm sure that book will be great.

Lol, I'm not reading it because it's a military stratagy book. I'm readin' it because it's a classic of Chinese literature. I'm taking chinese for a language in school so I've become more intrested in the culture. Once I finish it, I'm plannin' on readin' the Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

Thats pretty cool actually, cause I've never heard of anybody reading that for anything besides strategy. I'm interested to hear your opinion of it if you don't have an interest in strategy. I kind of want to read the romance of the three kingdoms, cause I love the video games Dynasty Warriors and if I remember correctly thats what they are based on.

Yeah, right now, I haven't even gotten to the 13 parts though. >_> I'm still in the prelude due to not readin' often enough. XD As for Dynasty Warriors, they are based off the RotTKs (too lazy to type out)

Yea, if your anything like me, you will read sun tzu pretty much only when there is nothing else to read. I probably would have enjoyed it more if i didn't forget it all in between readings of it. But, I do know many people who have really enjoyed the book.
