It's about a girl who gets murdered by her neighbor and about her vigilance over her family as they deal with her death. It also follows what the killer did and dwells into the killers pass. They're making a movie out of it.

But I dont think I'll like it much.... Ryan gosling was supposed to be the father... and was replaced by Marky mark.
=/

It was an amazing book.

It's awesome. Though it's morbid at times.
And depressing.

I'm a huge fan of Hopkins (and Hannibal) now because of those movies. However in spite of his brilliance as an actor, I can't say that many of his other roles stand out in my head. His performance as Hitler in The Bunker was good, and I absolutely loved him in the World's Fastest Indian.

I'm a fan of the HP books too. Aside from the Daniel Radcliffe eye-candy, the movies aren't too spectacular when compared to the books.

I also hated the Christian underlining of the Lion /Witch/ Wardrobe. It was a decent book though if you didn't think about that.

Would this be a bad time to tell everyone I can't read...?

Naw, I'm actually gonna read Salem's Lot soon, since I borrowed it off a friend after a lengthy four hour discussion on MSN regarding Stephen King and his works.

Salems lot is one of Stephen Kings earlier masterpieces. Love that book have you read any other books by Stephen King? Because thats an awesome book to get started on reading more works of his.

...and SjPerfection:
I don't really like the movies so far. The last one was pretty decent, although inmy opinion the cast(younger ones) are not progressing as much as I would like as actors. They still pretty much suck, and will soooo fuck up the next three movies if they don't get their act together.

I loved the directing for the third and fifth film, and the rest of the cast are superb!
Alan Rickeman, Maggie smith, ralph fieness all super awesome actors!

Who gives a shit what kind of religious underlinings are in fictional literature. One of the best series ever written had Christian underlining, and some of Tolkien's biggest fans are atheists. Who cares.
