I don't see how my words meant that I never ever used the similiar levelling technique after obtaining. I think you're backtracking XP

I never trust the English XP
I'd like if Team Rocket, THE ultimateduo of Jesse&James (&Meowth) would appear in Platinum. I know they won't but for nostalgic reasons it's be cool.

I love Pokémon but I really don't like how this generation was really to add on pre-evos/evos to pokémon from previous generations, but 4th Gen was more of a Johto generation tbh, so I suppose it's fitting, but 5th Gen better bring along something much better, infact, we should get the 5th Gen Pokémon some time next year... as in the glimpse of things to come, the first 5th Gen.

What needs to happen, is a collective Pokémon game to end all Pokémon games. As in, you start from Kanto and battle the gym leaders there, go to Johto and do the same, and repeating that in Hoenn and Sinnoh. So basically, extended Gold/Silver.
As a way to stop hitting the level cap before getting through Johto or Hoenn, either the leveling system should be slowed down, or the level cap should be raised.

Exactly as I invisioned Crayne, only that in order to prevent level-capping and the such, have it so that all your Pokes from the previous region are stored in that region and that there is a lack of communication storage-wise between different regions until you complete the League in that region, which allows you access to the Pokes you previously used. It makes for a nice privilege being the Champion, methinks.

That would sort of cancel out what happened in Gold/Silver/Crystal, where the Pokémon storage system could be used in Kanto and in Johto. I think making that decision would be a mistake, if not otherwise, then to frustrate and bore out the fans. "We know it worked like that back then, but now it works no more like that. Fuck you people, our game, our decision."
And besides, there has been Pokémon from other areas in many games. It would be redundant and very boring to catch the same team over and over again, raising them in the same way with the exception of fighting slightly different battles. The idea wouldn't work in my eyes. It would make the game quite boring, if you ask me. And if you are going to ask if I have a better idea... I don't. Other than just spreading all of the Pokémon to all the "continents" evenly. Those which appear in multiple "continents" could be locked away (with higher levels, of course) in areas unable to reach before it has been unlocked by achieving something. For example, the HMs could be spread to Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh. By reaching a HM in Johto, a player could go back to Kanto to a cave with newlyfound access due to the HM. Pokémon from Kanto not found earlier could be found now, maybe with some Pokémon from Johto as well. Well damn, I had an idea after all.

Better way of leveling: near a city with a Pokémon center (or just have revives), battle a Pokémon, have a stronger Pokémon bring it down to basically one hit and then let the wild Pokémon kill yours, bring out the weaker one, attack, more experience.

Yup sometimes I do that as well. There's a couple of ways of doing a good levelling and against a good opponent you can pull them all of.

Fight evolutions as well, you can get sometimes double or triple the experience points.
Also, stats and attacks run hand in hand. It's fine to disregard stats but try teaching hyper beam to Gyarados (just for the hell of it since the anime shows it as Gyarados's signature move) and you might be sorry. Gyarados has a higher attack than special attack so obviously in situations like that you want good stats. Well this is more important if you don't have a type advantage. Let's say you're fighting a fire gym boss and you have a grass type pokemon with super high attack. You'd want it to know some fighting moves or something otherwise you would get screwed. Trust me guys, I have a ton of Pokemon experience. ;) Right now I'm playing Firered and Ruby, lovin' 'em. Also, I like Crayne's idea. I believe Pokemon should be shifted, I would hate to get the same Pokemon in the same locations. Every city should also go from light to dark so we can see different Pokemon in the day and night. A bit of innovation goes a far way, sometimes too much of anything can be bad, espeically if it's the same thing over and over again. I also think it might be good if a cap is on every city, like an extra 100 levels per Pokemon per city. It would add a lot of challenge. I also would like to see smarter opponents (just regular opponents), that switch out Pokemon with another if they have one advantage over you. It would keep things interesting.

You always find a bird Pokémon in the first grass areas in every game. I'd like if they lessen the usual stereotypical types from popping up.
