You have to wait a while before you get a lightsabre, just like you didn't get it straight away in KOTOR I.
When you and Bao Dur finally get on the Ebon Hawk, he'll tell you he'll help you build a lightsabre when you bring him the parts.

I think it's just a fraction less made of the same awesomness as KOTOR I. They (Obsidian) apparently had a rushed job and for a rushed job they did some fine work.

The story was still deep,though I think alot of people were peeved that the big twists...wasn't a big twist. Even Kreia says in the game something along the lines off "There is no great revelation, no shocking twist..." ect.
They added a new feature with the influence which opened up characters more and let you delve deeper into their interesting pasts.

The romances weren't exactly what they were in the first game either. You never got a defining moment of "hmm we're going to hook up". Kreia is one of the coolest characters I've come across and a great addition, plus the connection to Revan keeps the overall story neatly together.
KOTOR II also had one of the best scores ever. When the Exile finally finds out 'the truth' as she returns to the Jedi Enclave and Kreia is sitting in the courtyard, the music that plays is breathtaking.
I do hope that if we get a 3rd game that we get to play Revan again and more options and diversity, similiar to Mass Effect, are optional.

The game was not only rushed, it was unfinished.

The story was alright and I had fun, but at the end of the day, this game leaves everybody with twice as many questions because the plot was incomplete. If you take a look at the official guide, you'll notice quite a few things that didn't make it through. Even simple techniques. This isn't even considering that quite a bit of pre-ending content on Malachor V was cut.

The music was alright. This game had one good song: The Jedi Enclave. Aside from that (Which only shows awesome for about 10 seconds), it's pretty generic schtuff.

I know it was unfinished, but for an unfinished game they still did a good job. Same sentence. I think a 3rd game is suppose to wrap things up, maybe you assume the role of Revan again after she went looking for the true sith.
I definately dont want a third character. Revan and Exile are enough.

Yes he did and that's probably why Revan kept him around. That and his ability to fix stuff and a voice that put you to sleep.

He's not quite on the scale of James Earl Jones or Shohreh Aghdashloo. I could listen to those two all day.
Kreia has an awesome voice.
