Mass Effect is a great game, as the others have said. Also, I haven't played it, but Eternal Sonata looks pretty good as well.

I was thinking of getting Eternal Sonata, but it's supposedly poor. And while I don't follow critics 99% of the time when it comes to JRPG's I'd rather know first what I'm shelling out 60euro on.

Eternal Sonata's storyline is poor, but the gameplay is GREAT. It's sort of like a Tales of game.
