No, you should use attacking moves while running through the game. Worry about stat-inflicting moves when you enter the competitive field. And BTW, a pokemon type doesn't affect his accuracy. It's the move itself.

I know what Flash does if that's what you're referring to, I was already certain of what you just stated.

I caught me a Scyther, yay! Shiro, if you want a challenge I suggest you try catching one, lol. These bastards have to be harder to get than a Dratini, I haven't even seen a Kanghason yet (however you spell the thing).

My new team consists of:

1: Blastoise (Surf, Ice Beam, Bite, Protect)
2: Rhyhorn (Shock Wave, Dig, Stomp, Strength)
3: Duduo (Peck, Tri Beam, Rage, Fly)
4: Scyther (Cut, False Swipe, something else)
5: Growlithe
6: Hypno

Once I get my Duduo to evolve, I may trade it with some electric type.

1. Good Blastoise with just Special attacks. That's good. (No sarcasm, it's better to stay in one side then trying mix)
2. Shock Wave is a no-no. You are doing shit to Water types anyways. Change it with a rock attack or something, for STAB porpuses.
3.Stay with Dodrio, it has good attack. But the moves suck. Put Return to replace Rage and Fly with something else.
