a way to counter it would be perish song or Destiny Bond.

Having mew would probably make the game one sided...I can see it right now. Someone owning everything with a psychic pokemon possibly more powerful than mewtwo...lol. Nothing would be able to beat it...except Tyranitar or something (it's type is strong against psychic).

Well, perhaps 5X Swords Dance plus Close Combat, but even that would be classified under "Maybe."

And besides, the next sent out pokémon could easily do the trick as well.
