I want to be able to play as Buu and actually absorb people, anybody I want, and have the game actually play off that with What-Ifs. I don't like presets too much.

If you do absorb, you should be able to take on their physical traits. The programmers have a lot of work on their hands and they better be reading this thread XP

In Budokai 3 you can. Buu can absorb Cell, Freeza and Vegeta.

In BT3 and BT2 there are three different Vegetas; Saiyan Saga, Cell Saga and Buu Saga, not to mention the plethora of different costumes.

In Budokai 3, Buu absorbs Piccolo (Attack Gain: 10%), Gotenks (+25%), and Gohan ( + 30%)

In Budokai 2...

• Tien + Yamcha (*decreases power* Buu: NOOO! (Attack gain: -15%)
• Frieza (Attack Gain: 0%)
• Cell (Attack Gain: 5%)
• Vegeta (Attack Gain: 10%)
• Gotenks (Attack Gain: 15%)
• Mystic Gohan (Attack Gain: 25%)

Yeah but for a new game design it so whatever character he absorbs he takes their traits. Like if he absorbs Tien, he gets his attacks or his gi ect. DOn't just limit it to the big guys.

It was most probably a stepping stone, and yes, he took their physical traits and gained some of their moves.

Not sure if the programming could handle it. You're basically doubling the size of the roster, and original characters to boot.

True, but d'you know how large a roster BT3 had? They had 161 characters, most of which need to be individually rendered. Most of games have a sort of "rubber stamp" for generic NPCs. They don't have that option for DBZ. They'd also need to design each and every fusion.

161 charecters may not seem alot of work to you , but it actully is.
It took spike so long to make the effects , ki charging , and the blasts got a
huge make over from the last game (bt2) . And the transformations ,
were awesome , it looked like they really were transforming right
out of the show. Thats mostly why it was delayed , because
doing all those affects and designed the charecters to fit perfectly ( though
most don't ) we all know it was in the end a shitty game after you unlocked
everything .

What i meant by that is although you have to admitt its
fun with friends , when your the only child ( like me ) and your a ten and
a quart year old ( my mom says this , i turning eleven soon) it reallz
sucks , ya' know? Yeah i have friends but , my neighborhood isnt that friendly
or full with kids . So yeah im pretty much lonly , so i dont play that much anymore.

But a game i can play alone well is super smash bros brawl , ....

Back on topic. Is this even coming out?
