If you're into the games on the gameboy systems. Even though it was kind of obvious how it would help you out or anyone else who knows something about pokemon.

It wasn't in reference to you making a game so don't think it was intended to help you with that unless you catch pokemon in that game as well. We've already told you, just make a well balanced team. Dark, fighting, and phychic would be nice too.

well i have decided to give people the option by going for Eevee also i will make the stones available at the appropriate time lol.


edit:also does this town look any good for a first gym town (it's not complete i have just done the basic look)

I don't know how this "RPG Maker" works....

How are you getting the graphics for the characters? Are you able to import character models from other games (like, for instance, just loading up a Pikachu), or are you being forced to "draw" your own?

you can load up a Pikachu... using the file manegment tool.

Can you pluck other characters from other games?

For instance, swipe an "enemy" monster from the Phantasy Star RPGs, or something like that?

If you could do that, you could look around for some character models, and create a few new Pokemon for your game. Something to set it apart, and make it "yours".

i could always splice pokemon together with photoshop and recolour them so they look unique then add them in but no i want to make a game with no original pokemon because original pokemon (and most 4th gen pokemon) don't have that thing that makes them well... Pokemon...

You can get around that. Just type all your dialogue out on your word program first, and run the checks that correct it.

Then, just re-enter the corrected stuff into the game.
