EDIT: Seriously, I got this game just to kill other villages with my army. I don't even have a single troop, as of now. I don't even know *how* to get a troop.

I invited you to the tribe, Gaz. (I as in 'Smokey Lonesome') Click on the tribe option at the top and join.

Also, to get soldiers, you need to upgrade you headquarters so you can build a barracks. Then you can build soldiers through barracks.

Higher levels = more wait time. My headquarters upgrade takes about an hour and a half now.

Also, you should make sure you upgrade your resource buildings (timber camp, clay pit, iron mine). You village will grow more quickly.

Waiting an hour and a half is nothing compared to waiting nearly 9 hours for your lv. 16 smithy to upgrade.

The creators of the game didn't really think that part through, I do not think.

I think they should've made getting resources more difficult than taking forever. =\

Yeah, in fact its a very slow-paced RTS game. Thats why it doesn't interest me that much. I prefer fast-paced ones like C&C, Company of Heroes, etc.

Once you build an army, its not gonna be that boring anymore. Though, I can't say its one of the best RTS games I played.

I have like 25 spearmen, 20 swordsmen and 20 axe men. It seems like much, but it isn't. Some users have like 500 Axe men.
