Because , 50 a year is just f***** redicoulous just to play a game online?

Man , microsoft should have did what sony , did . What i mean by this
is that keep xbox live just make it free.

And did you guys see the e3 microsoft annouchment?

Oh yeah and one more thing: All models in the fall will have that new interface thingy?

Some features of Halo 3 are available only for Xbox LIVE Gold accounts. Some features are available with Xbox LIVE Silver accounts, and some features do not work at all when there is no connection to Xbox LIVE.

So, basically, you are not able to play Halo 3's matchmaking game online with your silver account due to some limitations of this free membership. You have to have a gold membership for you to play. But the good thing is you can play it in system link with 16 player connected.
