Geow2 has three main flaws in graphics.

1. It has NO clothing effects.
2. It's draw distance at this point it kinda lacking
3. The background looks slightly stale.

Best graphics for this year is going to be MGS4 or Crysis: Warhead.

I am gonna go for MGS4. The detail, clothing effects, background everything was polished to perfection. Crysis even got a run for its money from MGS4.

LordMe, they're speeding along in a mining vehicle. The blurring fits if you watch the gameplay clip. Also, what kind of clothing effects? =\

Regardless, they still have five months to bring this game's look to full circle.

GOW 2 is gonna be bad ass. I love the voice acting for Myrrah and hope the Queen is seen or plays a bigger role.
The quote at the end gave me shivers and made me excited for the sequel.

"They do not know why we fight" - Wow so there's a reason, beside mindless monster slaughter? Interesting.
Watch the ending, especially when the Queens voice pops up.

Once again Alan Wake keeps popping in my head. Where the heck are you?!!

I know that. And I am not saying the graphics are bad, They are very sharp, And a good contender for best looking game of the year.

Ah, I see. It would help if Gears had more cloth-like clothes, but to be honest, they over-bulk them in ridiculously detailed armor. I still have yet to begin my play through of MGS4, though. I don't know why I'm waiting. =\

Nor. Do. I. Get offline and beat it... NOW! The game was amazing.

Armour is easy to get looking good. You dont have to worry about it moving, which free's up RAM. Its an easy way out IMO.

I am not saying Gears looks bad. It looks great. And the armor is the most detailed thing in there. But I think other stuff suffers because of such.

I'm still not completely awestruck by Gears' gameplay. I hate games that feel like the character is moving you, if you understand that . . .

It is. Very good looking game. I just wish they're artist could draw a female to look older then 12. >.>

I wonder why ppl hate gears so much? It's a good game. It's fun, easy controls, and it has violence. What's not to love about this? I know it's not original or the most innovative game ever, but it's still good. You are not a man if you don't like gears.
