What puzzles me is why announce it two days before E3 and not directly at E3?

Well at E3 they're announcing a deal PS3 Deal/Drop for Europe.

We'll I hope Sony keeps failing so the price goes down by the time Kingdom Hearts 3 comes out, at the same time damn I didn't want to buy all 3 systems I wish one of them would fail so Next gen I didn't have to spend like 1000 on 3 consoles.

Sony aren't "failing" as such. They're just not doing as well as the others. With the $100 dollar price drop, sales are expected to increase. Well, they almost definitely will increase to some degree.

You really seem to having something against Sony, Jerrod 0_o. Did a Sony employee shoot your cat or something?

PS3 have some big titles coming up. The console itself seems better than XBOX. I'm sure that is what will be the difference between the two in the peak of their potential (in terms of when the really good games come out).

Nintendo have reached their peak, IMO. They just don't have the big games that the current gamers are in to.

lol, no I just want Sony to fail so its cheaper for me to get a PS3, when the good games start coming out. And yes they are failing right now seeing how they lose money on every system sold and aren't making money off games since there PS3 owners aren't buying that many. Hell I have 12 Wii games plus 25 VC games how many PS3 owns have more than 5 PS3 games??

Jerod, I must DASH your hopes. Sony far from failed at this E3. They stole the show. Microsoft failed. The Wii did moderate. Killzone looks AWESOME and MGS4 (which will remain PS3 exclusive) left me breathless! RAIDEN IS, HAS ALWAYS BEEN AND WILL ALWAYS BE AWESOME!!!

^WTF no way Nintendo has shown off the most games at E3, Halo is better than Killzone (online) so what ever. MGS look good but I wont buy a PS3 just for that game but as of right now Nintendo is doing the best by showing us NEW games we have not seen until today (Mario Kart, Wii health, etc) Plus with the news of Madden and DBZ going online this year on the Wii thats even better new but overall this E3 is pretty great but no one is really stealing the show since no new giant games are being announced

Agreed I mean Sony and Nintendo were both impressed but I didn't see something liek WOW OMG I LOVE THAT.

I disagree, Microsoft>Nintendo>Sony.

Sony doesn't have many version exclusives from what they had shown, Microsoft went all out showing some of their epic games, which have me now thinking twice about buying an 360, and Nintendo just announced some new gimmicks and release dates which everyone can be all "HELL YES!?" about but fail to realise their Christmas dates.

Lost Odyssey = Awesome
Assasin's Creed = Awesome
Mass Effect = Awesome
You only get Assasin's Creed out of these on PS3. However, provide me with a game that is to be released only for PS3, that surpasses all these games. Microsoft won this E3 for themselves.

Unreal Tournament 3 = Amazing (With map editor and supports MOD's)

Lair = Awesome. (One of the only dragon games to launch)

Haze =Amazing (IMO, the Halo killer. It has more to it from what I have seen.)

SOCOM = Amazing. (I am a big socom fan. I cant wait to get my hands on this.)

Heavenly Sword = Cool (Not grand, but will be pretty fun.)

Warhawk = Awesome (I REALLY want this game)

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune = Awesome (Look cool. I think the game will be really cool.)

Ratchet & Clank =(I dont like them. BUT alot of other people seem to love them.)

Now for 2008...

MGS4 = Amazing (WOW... What else can be said...)

KillZone 2 = Amazing (If you dont know about this game WATCH SOMETHING... NOW.)

Tekken 6 = Awesome (Uhhh... Yeah, nuff said.)

Final Fantasy XIII/Versus = XII= Ehhhh... Versus = HELL YEAH! (I want Versus XIII. Dont care about XIII itself.)

Monster Hunter 3 = !!! OMG !!! = (Ehhhh... I WANNA GET THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Gran Turismo 5 = Bleh (I hate racing games. But this is a consol moving game.)

Infamous = Awesome (Watch the trailer. You will inderstand.)

So... Thats all off the top of my head... Prolly forgot some stuff... Yeah... Uhhhh... Do I need some more?

^non of those are must plays for 500 bucks. Zelda was a must for Wii but thats because the Wii is only 250. Yes Sony has some good games coming out most are for Sony fans not for everyone. And there is no Halo killer, Halo has fan boys Killzone and Haze do and will not.

Killzone 2 actually looks very pleasing but Jarrod there are two more Major Cons this year the TGS and E4All so we'lll wait until they finish to judge.

SOCOM - Never really liked it. Ever.
MGS4 - They'd better make playing an old gramps fun. So fucking fun.
Ratchet & Clank - They're just trying to suck the fans dry of their money by making half-assed games, or so the previous games seem to have done when a series goes this far.
Tekken 6 - Another series taken too far.
Final Fantasy VMMMMI - Went downhill after IX.
That's all I got to say about the games I know a bit about.
