2.40 does not quite alow custom music. Game devs still have to patch the games. Which by the looks of things no one is going to patch games that are out right now.

That I know, but what about future games? Killing ppl in Resistance 2 with rock music is going to be essential.

I think Insomniac has already said that R2 will have Tropies and Music.

Actually, if I heard correctly, Sony is releasing an agreement that developers must sign stating in-game XMB music is required. I may be wrong, though. Trophies were reportedly part of this agreement as well.

I don't believe this... I f-n bought a PS3. Let me know if you think I got a good deal. My friend at work sold me his 40gb system with MLB the show 08, Madden 08, Fight Night Rd3 and Spiderman on BluRay for $350. He is rich and has no time for games so he used a total of 2 times. He has the box all the cables even the HDMI cables.. everything just about untouched.

So now I'm in the 360/PS3/Wii club.

Yeah I feel bad for my Wii... It hardly get's played at all. Ever since Rock Band(360) consumed my friends, Wii anything hasn't been looking pretty! Now I'll be going back n forth with Unreal Tourny for 360 and MGS4 for PS3!!! I'm so excite!

It will be coming out shortly. And Sony now has it that it is a requirment for In game music and Trophies.
