Ya see... when the 360 is not part of it. You have to count Multiplatforms in as well.

Also. Remember WHY the PS2 sales picked up? Seems that you forgot.

Metal Gear Solid 2 and Final Fantasy 10. Right now ALL Sony is doing is buying their time. The PS3 WILL rise over the PS2.

Also remember one other fact. When the PS2 came out what was everyone saying? OMG NEEDS MORE PRICE CUTS... >.> Ring a bell?

Then if I count multiplatforms I can get a similar amount of Wii games, but all of those games you can get on the better system, the 360, so they really don't count.

And Mario Kart Wii is out, America is not the only region in the world.

Yes and they're still gonna fail since there's a lack of 3rd party support in the vein of the PS2 that made the PS2 so great. Pretty much, right now, the 360 is the new PS2 with all of the third part support. Just about every good game you can get on the 360.

Not all. As Burnout Paradise cannot be played online with the 360 if you lack a HDD. And GT5:P is exclusive...
Also what does 3rd party matter since 90% of 3rd party games are multiplatform anyways?
Now that the games are coming out from 3rd party devs. We will see what happens.

Now that the games are coming out from 3rd party devs. We will see what happens.

Because we know Burnout Paradise's online mode = whole game.

It's still the same game in each version just with a few modifications.

But that's besides the point, the intent was to compare the Wii exclusive and PS3 exclusive titles and the Wii beats them so far in the market in terms of quality and variety.

Which is really really bad for Sony since Nintendo isn't even close to a huge library of good games.

This is PS3 vs Wii. If I name a game you have to name one better that the Wii has. 360 is not a part of this.

Quality and variety?
It has a shit load of minigames... Quality I would disagree. But the normal person wont. So lets look at it in their eyes.

Mario, Zelda, Metriod, Brawl... So ask yourself. Whats left? What other titles do they have to offer? Wii Fit? That isnt even a game.

Sony's major titles are just starting to come out. All Sony had to do was survive 07. Which, I will admit 07 was a shitty year for Sony. But they now have all their games on the way for this year.

The 360 is a BIG part of this as you claim that games that are available on the 360, being a better and more money-worthy than the PS3, as big titles on the PS3 when you were obviously missing the point I was trying to make.

If I want to play those games, I would get them on the 360. Since the 360 is a better system and would be easier to just simply buy those games for the 360 instead of the PS3. So they have no real part in this discussion.

This is about comparing Wii and PS3 titles that are EXCLUSIVE to their system.

Major titles isn't what made the PS2 great, it's the amazing amount of 3rd party support and a vast library, both big and small, of games made for the system. The PS3 doesn't have this and most likely never will, with the only exclusive good titles listed in my list.

I got those scores from metacritic. They take all reviews and get a medium score.
Sigma and GT5:P are exclusive... Thats why.

As for big names... Uncharted... Thats they only BIG one up there... Resistance became a big name. But it was not expected to be.

And... Good awnser... Narrows it down alot.

No they're not. Sigma is NOT an original PS3 game, it's just a remake of Ninja Gaiden with PS3 graphics. GT5:P is exclusive but it's just a lacking version of the upcoming Gran Turismo 5. It's basically a rush version of it just to get a small taste of what the real game is gonna be like.
