So I've played the demo and personally I didn't really like it that much they havn't really done anything new except add another charater who isn't as good as Dante.

Nero is. IMO better then Dante. The Devil Bringer adds for alot of combos. And Exceed is a very fun add on.

Dante's in game style switch will ad alot as well.

I'm just going from the demo so my opinion is very valid.

The fighting which is the games main feature hasn't changed much since the first one and has got worse since the second one, didn't play three so I can't say.

DMC1 had a horror feal to it. Kamiya, the maker to RE made it, so that is what one would expect. It was also produced by Kobayashi, that is why the gothic look was there.

DMC2 was made by Itsuno. His atemp to follow up a ground breaking game. Tanaka produced 2. Which failed. Very bad. Due to the slow combat and they did not have a gothic feel. And Bob was a bad lead character.

DMC3 was Tanaka and Itsuno with their last shot. They re did the gameplay again. And went for fast, stylish action. And they got the gothic feel back kinda.

DMC4 is Itsuno and Kobayashi. More gothic then 3. More story driven then 3. Faster then 3.

Since 3 was such a big hit. They did not revamp the gameplay. As the system already worked, they decided to improve on it.

I think 4 is a great way to lead the games. I hope that DMC5 keeps Itsuno and Kobayashi working on it. Kamiya is good. But it needs to keep this Heavy Metal Opra feel they got.

I am not trying to change your mind. To each their own.

But the games have been on a rollercoaster for a while. I hope this team stays togeather.

I am fine with the games staying the same for the most part. I dont like a brand new engine every game. Same engine, diffrent weapons.

I didn't find the gameplay especially fast.

And Dante is a far better character than Nero, he has better swords and guns and he is the of that badass dude whos name I can't remember.
Nero is just a copy.

Actually I found plenty of differences between Dante and Nero both in gameplay AND character.

As for DMC4 I've never been a major fan and the combat is alright but not to spectacular. What are these differences between Nero and Dante?

Nero is more emotional that Dante. Nero seems to actually care about the situation where as Dante seems to just not care.

I figured you hated Raiden. Nero is the same situation. "But he's not Snake!" Nope. Raiden had more character depth to him. "But he's not Dante!" Would you people stop hating these characters for who they aren't and start appreciating what they are?

Nero is no where near as good as Dante not as good gun, sword or devil power and to a shallow guy like me thats all that matter.
