Don't be so sure on that. The PS3 is being forced in a bundle in most places over here. To at least get a PS3, we have to buy a PSP with it and a set of games otherwise we can't get a PS3. So this racks the price up to over £550-600. So that is totally unfair for us and forces people to spend more money on the PS3. Thanks Sony, they screwed us over again.
And another point is that for the PAL version of the PS3, we are only being allotted to "partial" backwards compatibility with a few "selected" games unlike the NTSC and NTSC-J versions of the PS3. So for backwards function fans in Europe, the PS3 won't deliver as much as promised. Again, screwed by Sony.

^not really since Sony has been working on it before Nintendo made Mii's. The Home feature lets you make more realistic characters, let you play pool, bowl, and collect trophic;s from beating games also will be used for online gaming with friends.

Well it certainly impressed me. I think it may the best software addition out of all three consoles. Beats the 360's and certainly beats the Wii's.

No its games they need to make it come back. Its cool but by the end of the summer the Wii will also have a dmeo (for both Wii and DS games) Plus they have another Wii channel for the Mii's this summer. Dont get me wrong its a cool feature but not like one so big it would make me waste 600 bucks.

^anyone hear Devil May cry 4 is going to be on the PS3, PC and 360. How od you think this will effect the PS3?
I think its a horrible thing for the system, this was one of the better games coming out for the system now itas coming on the PC and 360 and passably Wii so this is a huge blow for the next years sell of the PS3, I think.

Yeah a HUGE blow some people who own 360 were going to get a PS3 just for DMC 4 now that's coming too 360....... but I think that PS3 is also getting 360 exclusives but regardless that was a big mistake on Sony's part.

So the games that were going to help sell PS3 ( FF13 etc..) are losing it's exclusiveness which is a bad thing.

Well according to news, Hideo Kojima said that at this current time he has no interest in multi platforming Metal Gear Solid 4, so it's safe to say that it will be a PS3 exclusive for about a year until it comes out on the 360 titled Metal Gear Solid 4: Subsubsistence or some crap like MGS 2 and 3 did.
With FF13, Square Enix at this current time are discussing about it's "exclusiveness" meaning that right now it may come out on the 360 after all or it may not. Depends on how they feel.
