I really don't think it matters since the Wii is targeting women and non gamers. Online chat would be useless. Would you really want to go on Mario Kart and have to listen to people talk about their period, menopause, Days of Our Lives or that Sweet Bean Casarol?

Socom 3 didnt. >.> I LOVED that too... Only people with credit cards could play. Didnt have to pay but you still needed it to verify your age.

But I know alot of them do. But Still. The Wii would have that problem... ALOT.

Wii Chat, you would need a plug-in keyboard or point the controller at the TV to type (which is a pain in the ass).

Lol, I wouldn't be bashing anyone for getting the top selling console. I mean it has revolutionized gaming ya know. I mean there are just more game play possibilities with Wii's control setup. Not like I love it but I do give Nintendo credit for producing a fun and innovative machine.

Wow, not even a lick of good action titles? Well, I don't particularly keep up with the Wii so I am not commenting on their lineup. That does suck though, which is why I don't prefer it to the PS3 or Xbox 360.

I know on the past Nintendo system (Gamecube) a lot of good titles were released. Such as Super Smash Bros., Metroid Prime, Resident Evil, and reams of other action or adventure genre titles (like Sonic, Mario, and Zelda). I guess the hardware is good but the software is lacking from what it seems like but that's just my cognizance of the Wii's present lineup of games.
