Also other news. The Nintendo Wii will include a Weather Forecast system. So you can keep up to date on the weather.
An Avatar makerwhich you can use to customize your Wii. So you make yourself or a character and he will be in the Wii Interface and be used in the Wii Sports game.
A type of chat room. Your Avatar character goes into a room of people to talk and meet with.

The new Wii trailer. Its a really nice and long trailer. It shows some new game footage such as Mario, some sample footage of the new Biohazard (Resident Evil): Umbrella Conspiracyand just really nice footage. Enjoy, like i did.

Have awesome is that trailer? I posted it in the Clan but kinda went to sleep before posting it here. Though I dont remember seeing any part of the new Resident Evil, unless what I thought could have potentially be it (a bout 2 seconds of clip, just be for Twilight Princess) was actually that.

The release for the Nintendo Wii in Europe will be Decmober 8th at £179 (229 EUR).
Games will cost between £34 and £39 and there will be 15-20 titles available at launch.
Wiimote will cost £29, Nunchuck £14 and the classic controller shell for £14.
Virtual Console games that appeared on-screen included Super Mario
World, The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past, Super Mario 64 and
Donkey Kong.
And like the Japanese and American release, the Wii will be packaged with a Wiimote, Nunchuck and a copy of Wii Sports.

Woot a date at last for us. Great prices, nice date. It's not too long after the American one. If i can't bear the wait i'll just get an American Wii.

So this also means that the long and dearly awaited Zelda: Twilight Princess will release on:
Japan: December 2nd.
America: November 19th.
Europe: December 8th.
Woooo!
And and also, the Nintendo Wii will be Multi Regional if the companies want them to be. Nintendo announced that the Wii will be a Multi Regional console and have no Regional locking. That it's up to the Companies whether they make the games multi regional or not.
If you don't know what this means:
Mutli Regional means that a PAL/NTSC or a JAP console will be able to play any of the regions games. So a PAL console can play a NTSC game et cetera.
And what Nintendo mean is that they will make their console, the Wii, Multi Regional and that if a Company allow their game to be Multi Regional, then it will. I.E, Ubisoft could allow Rayman Raving Rabbids to be played by any region on any region console, but Sega might not allow Sonic: The Secret Of The Rings to be Multi Regional and only allowed to be played on it's respective Region console.
So i'm, assuming that Nintendo will release a Multi Regional chart and show which games can be played on which ever reason console and which games cannot.

Are you sure about the release date? Because when I went to the Gamestop nearest to me, it said in their release date book that it's coming out in October. And why is it coming out early in the US than Japan?

My information is coming straight from Nintendo's mouths from the Wii Confereances held last week.
Also bad news..about the Multi Regional..it's false. Nintendo Europe cleared up the missunderstanding and stated that the Wii will not be Multi Regional.

Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess is a launch title for the Wii, while its GameCube counterpart had been pushed back about two weeks from the Wii Launch. Jammy has listed the launch dates somewhere on this page so you'll have to check there.
There was a topic about the delay for the GameCube version, however for some reason the whole topic was deleted.
Basically if you are getting the Wii then you have nothing to worry about, but may be a little peeved if you were planning on buying the Gamecube version.

I was really hoping to play Twilight Princess on my GC a few days before the Wii arrives. I guess I have to wait till Christmas time. I also hope that Nintendo and Square Enix get over their differences and create a real sequel for Super Mario RPG.

The only plus side of Zelda for the GC is that of guarding.
Sadly the Wii version has auto block when your in battle stance. Kind of sucks the challenge out eh?

Assuming that Nintendo doesn't wise up and start adding actual options
to all of their games with their next-gen console. It would be nice to
be able to turn down music, change control types, or do something other
than just choose what your name will be.

Pokemon Diamond and Pearl is coming out in Japan on Sept. 28. The games are still predictable as usual.
