Is that the one that was only released in Japan? If so you may be waiting a hell long time.
Just because old games are being released on the Virtual Console, doesnt mean that any old japan-only games are going to be localised for the English VC. Japanese Wii's connect to a Japanese Wii Shop while non-Japanese Wiis connect to another shop. (I think each country actually has its own, since Australia's seems different to Europes, which seems different to America's), That is why Japan may and already has gotten different VC games available. They have some good titles out that the rest of the world doesnt yet, along with other games which we got later. Anyway getting away from my point, don't expect any Japanese only games to be released for and English speaking Wii VC anytime soon.

Mario RPG was released in America as well.
Nintendo have confirmed that only games which were released in your country will be available on the VC if the game goes on it. Meaning that Mario RPG on the SNES if it went onto the VC it will available on the Japanese and American VCs but it will never go on the European VC...which makes me sad...

Okay, I always thought that Mario RPG was a Japan only title. It interested me back in the day but not so much now, so it isnt really much of a bother to me. A few games like Perfect Dark and Conker would have been a nice addition to the VC, sad that it will never happen. >_>
DTV, if you have the old Fire Emblem games on your computer, I could get you some english patches and attachments for them. Or atleast point you in the dirrection of where to find the best translated versions that I know of. Of course they are all just fan-slations of them, but are pretty decent and atleasts gives you the story line which you would miss playing it normally.

Speaking of Fire Emblem: Goddess of Dawn. I thought I would list a bit of info about the new game, since its one of the new series that I actually know I little bit about. ^_^
The 10th game is a sequel to the GCs Path of Radience/Trial of the Blue Flame and sees the return of the theif Sothe as one of the main characters. FE9 set up nicely for a continuation of story, seeing a revolution throught the world of Telius and the reconciliation of the Beorc (humans) and Laguz (half beasts), in doing so the seeds of war and more destruction were sown. Now it seems that the religious capital Begnion has turned on the rest of the continent and it is embroiled in war once again. GoD is also confirmed to have three new weapons classes Dark Magic - While it was present in most of the recent FE games (mainly the three released on the GBA) was sadly missing from PoR. Hopefully it will have some impact on the story and not just get thrown into the game because people bitched that it was removed. Knives - In PoR Knives were a class only skill for Theifs/Rogues and their promotion, however it seems that there is a need to make knives into a weapons class. What the point of that is exactly is a mystery to me since it will have very little impact on gameplay. Strike - Strike is probably the most interesting of the new weapons classes and refers to the new ability of the Laguz to attack while not in a transformed state. While this may seem like a good idea, it could result in Laguz units being highly overpowered unless they get a big spike to their stats. The only thing stopping them from being powerhouses in PoR was that they could only attack while transformed and were vulnerable when in human form. The interesting option for this weapon class also is the possibility for a martial artist or even civilian type class that uses only their fists and body to attack. There is also a larger then expected (in comparision to other FE sequals) line up of old characters returning to the fray. The list includes Sothe, Lucia, Calill (and therefore assumably Largo), Elincia, Geoffery, Renaulf, Tibarn, Zelgius and Jill. Some of these like Elincia and Tibarn are not supprising as they were key characters to the storyline of PoR and the land of Telius (being the Ruler of their respective countries). While others such as the crazy Devdan and Calill come as much of a suprise. The game stands ar 44 chapaters, so there is likely room for a much larger returning cast then what is already known (watch out for a return of Ike and the Black Knight!), along with a truck load of new charcters. Of particular note is the addition of yet another character who is a Herron Laguz (thought to be extinct bar for the two in PoR) and a tribe of Wolf (IIRC) Laguz. Thats about all I can be bothered to dig up for now, but if anyone is actually interested in more info on it, I would be happy to see what I could source.

Screw Prince Of Persia. I was excited for it before they revealed it to just be a port of Two Thrones with gimmicky controls.
And i'm surprised America still hasn't got Wii Play yet. We have had that game for ages now.. I'm looking forward to Fire Emblem though. I have never played FE and when this one releases, i'm going to give it a try. It looks good, sounds good and i hear that FE is a great series.

GoD is gonna kick alot of ass. And, I see I'm not the only one who thinks Black Knight isn't dead. I mean, if rock could crush his armor, other weapons should have. >_> Still, Black Knight >>>>>>>>> Ashnard >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> all.
I'd like to see a bit about the Wolf Laguz though. And maybe have more Hawk Laguz at my... "disposal".

[/quote] Im going to get it since I never got that Prince of Persia game. And we didnt have Wii play becuase Nintendo has to spread out release dates betwen county's for this game I cn see why becuase you get a Wii remote with it. ALSO A New Wii Channel is now download able on your Wii, The "Everyone can vote channel" is free and you need to update your Wii and download the chaanel (off the Wii Shop channel for Free) Its a cool channel that is small right now but I predict will grow to be a big and fun channel. Here's alittle fact for you guys dud you know that Wii play should over twice as many copies as Twilight Princess in Japan. Wii Play is like the most sold game every were through because it comes with a Remote plus you get game for only 10 bucks over the price of a Remote, what a deal.

Seems that popularity for Fire Emblem is actually starting to pick up steam... I picked it up randomly one time cause I remembered Roy and Marth from SSBM and got hooked pretty quickly. I find that most people who are fans of it are also fans of anime, probably due to the huge story and cast of characters that change and grow with it. If you liked Final Fantasy Tactics and other stratergy games then it could strike home, though it does have its differences and is big on statistics and information.
I don't remember a whole lot about the Wolf Laguz, though I also dont remember alot being revealed about them. I do remember that they are ruled by a Queen Wolf Laguz and live in the desert to the northeast of the map of Tellius. One of a few areas that wernt visited in PoR, so there could be more Laguz tribes in other areas. What I am wanting to find out is how much of a role the Dragon Laguz will play in GoD, they were seen very little in PoR and the visit to Goldoa was basically just 'filler' to the rest of the story (It made it a little bit more interesting I guess, but there was seriously no reason for them to go there). ******Spoiler****** (sorta) Speaking the dragon's, I really dont see the Black Knight being dead even if you did manage to defeat him in PoR. If the only weapon that could harm him was Ragnell, I doubt a few rocks falling on him is going to damage him much at all. Though The dragon's breath he suffered could be a different story). ****End Spoiler***** Anyways, I will check out my FE source and see what I can come up with regarding info on the Wolf Laguz, Rock Lee (I have a feeling your not a new member... maybe Kei?) and get back to ya on that one. EDIT From here I would advise a spoiler warning, there isnt a whole lot of crucial information, but I may get carried away and spoil some things for some people. Been digging around through old info and found a bit more about the games lenght, though it may not be much interest to new comers to the game. The game will be 44 chapters (read levels) long, and devided into 4 different parts. Assumably, the different parts will be similar to that seen in the original Fire Emblem released outside japan (Blazing Sword/FE7) where one main character is the focal point. In FE7 there was three different parts, Lyn mode, which was the first 10 chapters of the game and served as a tutorial, Eliwood mode, which was the main story of the game from chapters 10-30, and Hector mode which was still chapters 10-30, but told slightly different and had some different maps. It could be possible that there is only 2 or 3 different parts to the main story, then there is a replay option to play through another characters part of the same story, all of it is basically speculation at the moment. However, from what I have found its been stated that the first part of the story follows Sothe and Mikaya (a new character and one of the crucial story characters, shown in the E3 trailer last year) and the second part belonging to Elincia. Since GoD is only set 3 years after PoR we may even see the possiblity of Ike returning and having a part of the story devoted to him. Though I would rather his role in GoD be minimal. I knew I had seen some info on the Wolf Laguz, apparently the Wolf Laguz live in the Desert of Death and are ruled by Nike. Also the name of the Herron prince is Raphael. I have pics of Nike but I dont want to hotlink from this guys site. I think I will stop with the information for now... Feel like I am high-jacking the tread.
