I'm not sure if I should get a Wii or save up and get a PS3 in perhaps a years time. To me, the Wii is the best when it comes to the console itself but the games, i'm not sure of and the Wii is pretty damn cheap.
What should I do?

For 600 bucks there is no game I eill ever want that I will pay over 500 dollars for so Im not getting thePS3 until it goes down into like the 200's proce range and that will be a while.
The Wii is great since Wii sports is a good game but its really a great game whne playing with your friends.
Plus you can download some really great games for it and by March of next year there will be online games, News channel, Interent Browser, Forcast channel, and demo Channel (also you to download Demo's) Plus there will be over 60 games to download.
Plus Mario will be out and so will some other cool games.
While I dont really see any BIG games coming out for the PS3 until like mid next year. But its all about what you like the Wii has some great fun games while the PS3 has more adult games with great graphic's so its you either want great graphic's or great game play its all up to you.

if your undecided about which to get the get the 360. It seems to be the middle ground for gamers who arn't sure about the wii and can't afford a PS3

Woot. Got my Wii through the post this morning at 9:00 am. It's much better than i thought, i'm very happy with it.

Which game have you got? And if that game is for another console aswell, how does that game compare to the game on the Wii?
'Coz with the Wii, it's impossible to tell just by looking.

I got Zelda, Wii Play, Wii Sports (came with console), Call Of Duty 3 and Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz.
Seeing as COD 3 is the only game to compare, it certainly is novel by having to actually aim, drive, and melee your way through. But the Wii versions screams for extra attention in the learning curve. It takes a good while to get used to and you tend to stray off while aiming as you fiddle your way through the buttons.

well after playing COD 3 for a good solid hour i can personally say it's a solid buy for about £30 (that how much i got it for). If you turn the sensitivity down in the game, your aiming is alot better and fluent and once you know the lay of the land over the Wiimote, you don't have any need to look down when by now you can just move your finger over the required button.
Also doing actions like having a punch up with a soldier is tiring yet surprisingly good fun.

It's mixed reviews. From what i understand alot of people are put off by the controls as they take awhile to get used to.
And Twilight Princess is by far the best game for the Wii right now.

Zelda blows Red Steel out of the Water, Zelda's Controls work better, better graphic's, better story, and much longer and more fun.
I really wanted Red Steel until I got it and the controls were not that good.
