Studio Discusses "Daredevil" Reboot at WorstPreviews™

Daredevil might get a brand new reboot like Hulk and Batman which is good because the 2003 movie was not that great (But I still like it IMO). One thing that worries me, its still own by Fox and Tom Rothman was the one who announced it.

There is a rumor that Tom Cruise or Jason Statham may be playing as the new Daredevil.

God no! Not Statham!!!

The problem I had with the 1st film is they turned Murdock into a "If you can't afford it I'll take whatever" type. The movie wasn't BAD it just wasn't quite Daredevil.

Please note GORE does not make a movie darker.

I reckon get some Frank Miller storylines going, there was that one he did in the 80s. but Tom Cruise is a no no, too big a star, would be a bit ******ish as Matt Murdock. not sure who i would have as Daredevil actually. MAYBE A WRESTLER!!! lol j/k j/k not gonna happen. The casting does need to be spot on though

I did not like Kingpin in the movie because his role was lame and the actor that play as him was awful in my opinion. I would like to see Kevin Smith direct a Daredevil movie with Mister Fear as the villain.

No, just no and definately not Statham. What the hell is wrong with Hollywood??

How about just leave daredevil alone, he was never a great character in my opinion. Just leave it alone, and focus on others who deserve the spotlight, like Flash.

Jason Statham and that why Fox may want him as the main role. It better then Tom Cruise as the role.

Flash is DC not Marvel. Marvel is now their own movie studio and Daredevil is a very popular character and, IMO, a decent character. He just wasn't in the film.

Lol, i know that. My point is why doesn't hollywood focus more on DC. Totally my fault, wasn't clear on my point.

DC was king at the Box office back in the 80's and the mid 90's but after the failers of Batman & Robin, Steel and Catwomen, they stop making movies based on the comic then they used to. Watchmen and Superman: The Man of Steel come out next year and there the movies that are based on a DC comic book. They are making a movie based on The Flash as well.

Because on average Marvel holds more excitement with their characters. Just compare their movies like Superman Returns. Compare it to any Marvel Movie that was made around the same time. Same with Batman.

That's a great point, but in my eyes i see these new Batman movies as a starting point for DC. This is their time to shine. We all know that the Dark Knight made more money than any Marvel movie, due to it's acting and dark themes. I think the Dark Knight was the best comic book film to date. Batman can serve as a starting point, just like X-men did for Marvel. I see a golden age for DC.
