Simpsons is obviously old, because it started back in '89. Futurama started 10 years later, so I admit that not many people consider it to be old. Even I don't consider it to be that old. But people have been posting other series from late 90's and from the early 2000's... and I really thought that Futurama deserved to be mentioned. Hence why I mentioned Futurama. Because I really think it is that good.

(Also, in six months it will be 10 years since Futurama started airing. Meh.)

Alright, I'll give you guys Simpsons to be honest, it is old. I try to avoid the early Simpsons episodes because I find them a bit shitty. The newest ones are too musical, I prefer the middle ground.

Old Simpsons episodes have some of the best jokes and plot ideas... gradually, they worsened with some sudden, odd peaks in the quality of humor and plot development in the following years.

If you mean the plots were more believable in the later episodes, I'll agree. To be honets, it's just my personal taste for the plots to be different from reality, since I treat fiction as a way to forget about reality, but it's probably just preference, which I'll respect.

As far as the jokes go, I may have to rewatch.

I just saw Broly's post above, man I missed that cartoon (the second one). The first one, that was based on the Archie comics (or the other way round, whatever) was one I never really managed to watch, due to the unfortunate situation of the UK never playing it lol. But the second one was one I used to watch all the time, I swear it was like trying to watch something after you've taken pot. Awesome.
