Same, to be honest Superman is overrated and Flash in my opinion is alright.

But Batman now that´s way better, although Marvel is truly the king of kings.

I like marvel because well sometimes their storylines are out there they very detail orienated where DC's storylines just tend to be out there.

I actually prefer Spider-Man over Batman. True, Spider-Man actually has powers to give him an edge, but it's not enough that he doesn't have to use his mind to fight *cough* Iron Man *cough*. And Spider-Man, well... despite the powers, he's actually more human than Batman. Bruce has billions of dollars, never had to work a day in his life. Peter's a poor New Yorker. Has to work his ass off like the rest of us. I'd like to go get hotdog or a pizza and a beer with him. Then he'd be like, "Brb, gotta go save the day, lol," and I'd be like, "Cool, can I have your beer?" and he'd say, "Yeah, totally."

The point is that he's a very connectable character.

I like Marvel because their heroes are glorifed like DC heroes. Not even the Avengers have had the same love from people on the scale of the Justice Leaue.
They have to put up with bigotry even in the middle of saving the world/universe and they keep on doing it.
The best example being the mutants. How much hatred can you take from the people you're risking your life for? Apparently there are no limits. The X-men will de before they let someone take over the world that seemingly hates them.

Superman even notes in a crossover with the Avengers that's the fact that the world doesn't kiss the ass of Marvel hero teams is a bad thing? Wtf? Superman sometimes acts like someone who has severe mental problems.
He also seems to think that disease,crime ad poverty only exists in MU.

'Kay... I need a quick concenus here, slihtly off-topic but, whatever. Civil War- is it worth splash out serverly on to buy as much of the colected trades as possible? Tis the only way I'll get to read the damned thing...

And the thing about Marvel is that it's more realistic.. excluding Batman, who I like when I can be bothered to read it, DC heroes are... too much of superheroes for my liking. Case in point being Superman whose too... over-powered for my liking...

I have Civil War, The Amazing Spider-Man: Civil War, Peter Parker, Spider-Man: Civil War, and The Road to Civil War. Depends on what you like, really.

Superman is too powerful and the mythos of him being unbeatable is also greatly exagerrated by doting fanboys. I like Superman, I just dont like when he's a douchebag and is made out to be just better than everyone.
Example of why he is not!

I don't know how to advise you Eragon about Civil War. If you want to watch Tony Stark getting away with being a douchebag and see common sense fly out the window with regards to the Registration Act, then prepare yourself. I think you should get the trade though. It gives you an understanding of where and why everyone is where they are right now in MU. It leads to why Captain America is a cool badass, to those of us that find the whole Patriotic "America is better than everywhere" to be a negative of his character when he overdoes it.
You see how friends and families come to blows and how some people give up and how others well they perservere.

I recommend that you also try the Frontline TPB for Civil War.
For one it's the only Frontline that's worth reading. Skrull and World War Hulk Frontline are just boring yawnfests.
And for another, it's an integral part of the wholestory and shows how people are reacting to the Act and also shows more interesting unique revelations than the main CW title did on occasions.

Today I just bought Countdown to end crisis, it´s a DC comic and it´s the 4th edition.

So who who´s reading that?

I'm reading it and I can't wait for this incredibly long money spinning saga to be over.
It began with 52, went on through Countdown, was suppose to end with Final Crisis and it turns out like the previous titles, FC also has spin off titles.
*sigh*
Anyway I am enjoying it more or less. I'm not sure what exactly the big plan is becasuse hey are teethering so slowly with it. Lots of explosions and climaxes and yet we're still not at the ultimate finale.
It seems that Earths heroes are getting their asses handed to them.

Get Civil War and Frontline. Ms.Marvel, Iron Man ect all have their own but it'snothing that needs to be known in the grand scheme of things,
I was on the Anti Registration Side. I don't think they should of made it law that you HAD to be registered, especially if you were a stable hero.
