At one point, he catches Oni Gojira's breath blast and fires it back at him Kamehameha/Spirit Bomb-style with his wings.

I actually considered Gojira, Mothra, King Ghidorah; Giant Monsters All Out Attack as the best of the Millenium Series, with Final Wars being the worst. I liked the re-imagined style that the GMK movie took, placing Gojira as an entity born from all the vengeful hatred of those killed in the Pacific battles of WW2, and linking Baragon, Mothra, and especially King Ghidorah, with monsters of Japanese legend than what they were in other movies (an irradiated dinosaur long thought extinct, the guardian monster of the Shobijin, and, in most all incarnations, a space monster).
Gojira: Final Wars on the other hand showed Gojira as a horribly overpowered monster in comparison to monsters that in other movies would have been near his equal in every right. Not to mention heavy elements of the human half of the movie was directly or indirectly stolen from movies such as the Matrix, Star Wars, Independence Day, and others. I also hated the almost rat-like design that Gojira's suit had, which did not convey the powerful creature he was supposed to be. Favorite Movies Gojira X Destoroyah (Was my single favorite monster design, and it was actually sad that Gojira died in the end) Gojira, Mothra, King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All Out Attack (explained above) Gojira (The original, Japanese version, not the version with the additional Raymond Burr scenes inserted for the International releases) Gojira vs. Mechagojira, Gojira vs. Mechagojira II, Gojira X Mechagojira, Gojira, Mothra, Mechagojira: Tokyo S.O.S.: Basically every Mechagojira movie except for Terror of Mechagojira, since for whatever reason, it never sat well with me that a "monster" that was able to take on both Gojira and King Caesar suddenly in the movie's sequel needs a second monster to help him deal with Gojira. Destroy All Monsters: This is by far my favorite of the Showa series, featuring basically every monster, even if but a cameo, and keeps things fun and entertaining. Movie(s) I hated All Monsters Attack (Gojira's Revenge): I have this movie only for the sake of completing my collection, and nothing more. Minya's horrible voice, the retarded plot, the excessive use of stock footage, and the one title of the movie (What the hell is Gojira getting revenge on?) Gojira vs. Hedorah: There's good reason why Toho kept this director from making another film for them. The plot is stupid (oh boy, living pollution), the whole ecological subplot was unnecessary, and the boy might as well have been a reject from the Gamera movies (yes, even Gamera vs. Guiron). The only semi-redeemable qualities of the movie was the trippy scene in the night club (Guy goes in and starts hallucinating people with fish for heads), and Gojira's atomic "jet propulsion" breath. To set things straight with what was being said, according to official Toho sources, Gojira's height was as follows. Showa: 50 meters Heisei: 80 meters -100 meters (after his "re-creation" in Gojira vs. King Ghidorah) Millenium: 55 meters-60 meters (60 meters in GMK and Final Wars).

Final Wars at least gave us this:
I don't care what you say; it was neat seeing Gojira own monsters left and right with ease. Most of them were only capable of giving him a fight in the Showa series, so it's no surprise that anything post-Heisei could take three Daikaijuu of that level at once.

You show Godzilla as three main forms as seen on the Wikipedia page. However, Godzilla has many more forms than that. Comparison shot provided by Wikipedia:
![]() Those alone are from the Showa saga. Now, I throw done the gauntlet. Find me pictures of each suit used. |

I had heard a few years ago that one of the Gojira suits was stolen from one of the lots. I think it was for the 1985 film.
I'll say now what I said then: Damn, someone must be having fun on Halloween.

I hated the American godzilla movie. It was crap. Wait lower than crap. It was just a spit on a good movie icon. When toho licensed the title and rights do you think they knew the US would make godzilla into what he was in the movie?

Yeah I agree, as a Brit I had to track them down hard. In the end they were utter shambles of a film. Yes it captured how powerful Godzilla was, but thats all they did for me. Favorite film has to be the one when Godzilla fought off Kaiser Ghidorah, and finished him off with dragon throw and an epic burning kamehameha wave. Honestly Ghidorah got pawned. Although as a kid, you cannot deny they were all good films.
