"GINO" has been around faaaaaaaaaaaaar longer than Final Wars has. It is kind of an elitist term, though.

Yeah it might be an AF like rumor but it was on the news (Rodan's Roost) and it said it would be a 12 year vacation.

@ Chibi: Hm. Screw the elitists, then. It's "Zilla." =/
Gojira will be returning to the big screen within the next 5-10 years, most likely for the 60th anniversary celebration. Toho will use that film as an experiment, and depending on its success, may or may not continue the film series from there. On the subject of Gojira Jr. from Godzilla vs. Destoroyah being the Millennium Gojira, this is false. The Millennium series is a complete retcon of the Gojira films, using only the original 1954 film as the background for Gojira. Unlike the Showa and Heisei series, the Millennium series is also broken up into multiple different continuities, thus, each film in that series brings with it a new Gojira (except for Tokyo S.O.S., which is the sequal to Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla, and GMK, which uses the resurrected original Gojira). There are even discrepencies in the canon, since Kiryu in Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla was built from the bones of the original Godzilla, yet those bones were shown to have disintegrated in the original 1954 film (though shown briefly at the ocean floor beforehand). Yes, I researched this shit. Recently. Do not question me.

Besides, the first Gojira movie I can remember seeing, ever, was Godzilla vs. Mothra. And I was like...two or three.

Did anyone notice in the 90's godzilla vs king ghildorah godzilla wasn't really defeated and somehow he got energy to reawaken. So what do you think ghildorah had little willpower left and give his life force to godzilla because ghildorah didn't like being used?

"GMV", foo'.
@Super_17: Naw, Gojira just did his usual zenkai and hauled ass all over Ghidorah. That's one of my all-time favorite Gojira movies, with one of my absolute favorite battles.
