I'm going to be boring and just say Metallica. Most of the other bands I would list probably would be more on the alternative rock side.

Except for Maximum the Hormone, the Japanese band...

I'm into a wierd mix at the moment: Metallica, Sum 41, Slipknot and Hoobastank. The only odd one out here is Hoobastank, but they did a pretty good job with "Out of Control".
