I'd rather not call skateboarding a sport... since my view is Skateboarding is an art form. Every trick is done in the mind before executed. Style goes into play, originality, music and environments. I'm sure though if I put this under art it would get moved to here considering the popularity of x-treme sports competitions.

Anyways If anyone skates here is a great place to talk about it. You can post pics of skating, pics of yourself skating, videos of your favorite skaters, videos of you skating and discuss what is good and not so good with skateboarding today.

First subject I'd like to cover is this Ryan Sheckler madness. Do you think he is helping or hurting skateboarding? Does his show promote skating positively or negatively?

That's cool my friends BMX... Look up Garret Hoogerhide. He is going pro real soon. I have watched this kid slowly destroy every spot in NJ and NY. They just named some underground video after him! "Garret Hoogerhide is Fucking Nuts!" LOLOL

So who likes Rodney Mullen, the best skater ever?

He's good. I can't call him the best because he doesn't really do gaps, stair cases, hand rails, ramps, park, cement, pools and vert.

He is beyond amazing on street, ledges, picnic tables, boxes and manual pads. He truly has mastered controlling his board as if it where an extra appendage.

For me right now I would say Daewon Song is the best skater out with Chris Halsam coming close.

I'm sorry, but Rodney Mullen is more interesting to me than all of them put together. His style is more appealing and cool. XP
