Bottom line is, Appalachian State did what the Gators couldn't. And their fans didn't run their mouths all month before the game, like Florida's did. The shit-talking was non-stop. To hear them tell it, Michigan was going to get blown right off the field.

And then after needing numerous turnovers just to stay within 20 points, they STILL try to claim that they were "better than Michigan". Pathetic.

Haha that was actually well said, I agree. I mean Michigan did lose the Rose Bowl againist USC but who doesnt lose the Rose bowl to them.[Texas] god i hate vince young

I will give them credit, though. After nearly 20 years of futility, the Gators have finally figured out how to win in Tallahassee. So, they've at least topped Spurrier in some small way.

A whole bunch of National Championships, Heisman Trophy winners, and Super Bowl MVPs disagree with that.

There aren't a whole lot of programs out there that are more successful than USC.

I know. But beating a team once in a lifetime doesn't take away from that team's legacy. Doesn't even make a dent. EVERY team has lost to somebody. Actually, every team has lost hundreds of games.
