Default Favre

If you haven't heard Brett Favre retired today. In my opinion he was one of the greatest quaterbacks of all time, and I really liked him for he enthusiasm of the game. He generally seemed like he just loved football. The game will not be as good with him not around anymore.

Yeah, I heard about that today from a friend at school. But I thought he had announce this last season as his last season. It's to be expected anyway. What, he's like forty-something?

Well, Favre has kinda been saying his playing his last season for like the last few years, so now it's official which still kinda surprised me. I shouldn't say surprised, but I would not have been surprised at all if he decided to play another season.

Sort of odd. This was one of the best seasons of his career. Though, I've been waiting for it for years. Hell, go out with a bang, I suppose.

I believe Brett is 39. :P

If the Packers would have gone after Randy Moss like Favre wanted, he would have stayed.

I can't believe favre retired. I thought he would go one more season.

I guess that playoff loss last year really got to him.

Close he is 38, and has played 16 of proffesional football, which means he was 22 when he turned pro, and was 17 or 18 when he graduated high school and started college, which seems kinda young, me atleast.

EDIT: Also he said he would play another year, but his chances of winning the superbowl are slim, if he would of won it this yea he probobly would of played another year.

This will probably turn out to be a Billy Donovan repeat.

He'll retire, make it public. Then, out of the blue, Favre will announce his comeback to the NFL.
