Classic literature is often boring, and sometimes even hard to understand. But there is a reason they are classic, they are inlfuences for so many books that we do enjoy reading, so you have to give respect to them. Another reason that people say all books are boring is that they would rather watch the movie version because they think the movie version and the book are exactly the same. I used to think that, but now that I've read a lot of books, inlcuding many that were made into movies, I realize that the books often have so much better detail that its easier to picture whats going on in the book, than to actually watch the movie.

I read a lot of books mainly Romance Novels (Paranormal, Historical or Gothic) or Fantasy/ Science Fiction novels. I love Kenyon's work. She is an amazing paranormal romance. She created a series called The Dark Hunter series which takes Greek Mythology and Vampires into a totally different level. It also involves Atlantis and some Summerian Mythologies as well. It is just amazing!!
I think my main goal is reading paranormal romances. Something about them full fill my fantasy and romance needs. I read so many I always mix them up. lol ![]() |

Unlike most serious fans, I hated the book ending of Hannibal, Lecter allowing Clarice to run with him seemed very out-of-character to me, especially after her substantial change in character from SOTL to Hannibal. Also I have to say that Hannibal Rising was terrible for a Hannibal Lecter "chapter", both movie and book. Hannibal Rising contradicted so many things about his childhood that were stated in the book Hannibal. Also how he escapes from prison in the book Silence of the Lambs wasn't nearly as spectacular as the movie. The best book I've ever read is My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult It's about a teenage girl who sues her parents because she was concieved to be a genetic match to her older sister who was diagnosed with leukymia. It made me cry at the end.
