The Arrancar Ensemble: Standing in Heaven

WHAT?!?!?!
Ronney James Dio is among the best(and founders) of rock. The original song was pure win...especially the cheap 80's music video accompanying it.

I can't stand anything about the '80s.
The only "Dio" who has any win is the one that's followed by "Brando".

You do know that Dio Brando has the name Dio, because Ronnie James Dio is fucking awesome?
You didn't? Ignorant bitch. Go learn something about good music. Stand Up And Shout, Here's To You, Holy Diver, Walk On Water. Awesome stuff. EDIT: Niku can't stand anything about the 80's? Well fuck that, his taste in music is now irredeemable and fail. Automatically, thanks to that statement.

And '80s music fails, just accept it. The voices, the fashion, the...hair...*shudders* Also, I don't like how the drums sound like they're being played from far away in some kind of massive room, where the acoustics are all fucked. And all that weird synthesizer shit=DO NOT WANT.

I found John William's Superman theme more uplifting than epic, although it suits both definitions, I guess.
All That Remains: "Six" (from Guitar Hero II if it sounds familiar) has its epic moments to me.

Considering the definition of epic is "long poem", we're all pretty much using it totally out of context.
Either way, Supermans score was pretty amazing. I bought the CD today and WOW.

And HELL NO. The 80's in America was the greatest thing to happen to the world. Gave birth to many great songs, great bands, and a great style(especially the hair).

Agreed, by all counts. Ummm... Muse's "Knights of Cydonia" I find to be "impressively great."

Eliwood, I was just making examples.
Also Niku - you have made a statement which would anger at least two thirds of the music listening population. Your taste in music is absolutely horrible. And I cannot accept your faulty statement, because I listen to music from the 80's, and I like it. I find it hard to believe that I would be the only one. If compared to the modern music, there is a lot more better stuff from the 80's. I admit it, there are good bands doing music now - but fuck it, in the 80's, it was better. A lot of epic albums were made. Much more than these days.

The Four Horsemen (Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, and Anthrax) of metal all released their best albums during the 80's.
The 80's gave birth to metal so it was pretty awsome by my standards. I even like 80's pop music better than todays.

Ronnie James Dio is a GOD any song with him included is pretty much considered epic.

It's hard to imagine but many of the elements that define "metal" were actually started in the 70s and even as early as the late 60s with Jimi Hendrix. It was in the 80s that metal was established as a genre.

Black Sabbath, Led Zepplin and Hendrix were the first metal bands, and ya I could go on about this like forever but I am not.
