Superior, I thought of the same thing with Undertaker too. lol. This whole limo explosion thing is bullshit and totally fake. And down they're gonna try make it that a wrestler did it or something. It was on smackdown!
Also, who else thinks that they'll make Cena overcome the odds (again) and retain?

I read about that SmackDown! bit on their website today. All I could think of was Stone Cold Steve Austin, but I know that they won't have this play off as him being that third party member. I'm trying to guess who it would've been? Cena? Lashley? Trump? Triple H? Stephanie? Linda? Shane? The possibilities go on and on.

Of course Cena will retain. I've heard rumors that Cena will be Champ all the way up until WrestleMania 24, if not longer. I don't like wishing bad things upon people, but if Cena getting hurt is the only way we can get a new Champion, then I hope he gets injured. I liked it a few weeks back when Cena didn't come walking out with the title because Khali had stolen it from him.

On WWE.com there's something about Eric Bischoff being a suspect. And another name that could pop-up is Shawn Michaels. Also I'm thinking maybe Edge could be the one. His motive being that he was trying to kiss Mr. McMahon's ass and Vince put him in a do or die match against Batista. They could say Edge was pissed and killed him.
Damn, I like Cena and all, but they need to make him lose and be out of the title picture for awhile. I don't think I can take Cena winning a third straight WrestleMania with the STFU.

This is off topic but who agrees Kane needs a push before he retires? Why not end his careers with a decent run?

True, they've made Kane a pansie. He used to be so dominate and fierce, (I mean look at what he did in that one Royal Rumble when he eliminated like 14 people!) but now he's a lose every big match he's in. He's even getting beating up by William Regal! WWE needs to make Kane lose it again.

I agree, I absolutely hate what the WWE has done to Kane. They fire Kane up, make him an overcome the odds character, then kill him off by having him reduced to a jobber. He at least needs to hold some major title for a good length of time before he retires. No doubt he'll one day be in the Hall of Fame, but he needs a Championship to go along with it.

My god!! Every title was up for grabs and only one, yes, ONE freakin' title changed hands. And damn you McMahon, Cena doesn't deserve to be champ! Also, Edge retained, thus ridding himself of Batista. Maybe now we can see a Batista/Mark Henry story arise. I'm also mad that the Hardys lost, I really wanted to see them face London and Kendrick in a TLC for the titles. But the most surprising match was the ECW title bout. Benoit not being able to be there and Nitro coming in and winning it.
And what the hell was up with Duece and Domino's opponents!?! They go from facing London and Kendrick to wrestling Sgt. Slaughter and Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka. All in all, I'm rather dissappointed.
Edit: On WWE.com it says that Chris Benoit and his whole family were found dead. Sadly, unlike the Mr. McMahon thing, this is real. (from what I've read) It's a terrible tragedy...Benoit was a great wrestler and one of my favorites.

I feel my message on Superhero Hype says it all:

Quote:
The police seem to have ruled out gunshot wounds, so I suppose the next step is to see if this was a homicide.

This is really sad. There are a lot of ways to go out, but neither he nor his family deserved this. Chris Benoit was the kid of wrestler back when I watched wrestling whose submissions drew a kind of awe that made Shamrock look like he was in the minor leagues. The man almost implied "tapout tonight" just by mention of his name. After losing Eddie, I was hoping we wouldn't see such a tragedy repeat itself in wrestling for some time. This was too soon for me, and is just another in a tragic line of wrestler deaths.

My thoughts go out to the survivors and fellow fans who are as distraught as I am to hear this.

Here is the note I posted on Facebook about Chris Benoit. Some of it is from WWE.com, the rest is me.

Quote:
This note you will find is not the usual note of mine. It is with loving memory of the greatest Technical wrestler to walk God's green Earth that I write this. Please, pray for his family as they have not only lost their son (Chris), but also their grandchild (Daniel), and sister-in-law (Nancy). If you are reading this and wish to leave something here, it would greatly be appreciated by not only me, but all of the professional wrestling fans alike. Thank you...

-----------------------------------

World Wrestling Entertainment was informed today by authorities in Fayette County, Ga., that WWE Superstar Chris Benoit, his wife, Nancy, and his son were found dead in their home. Authorities are investigating, but no other details are available at this time.

Instead of its announced programming for tonight on USA Network, WWE will air a three-hour tribute to Chris Benoit.

Chris was beloved among his fellow Superstars, and was a favorite among WWE fans for his unbelievable athleticism and wrestling ability. He always took great pride in his performance, and always showed respect for the business he loved, for his peers and towards his fans. This is a terrible tragedy and an unbearable loss.

WWE extends its sincere condolences and prayers to the Benoit family and loved ones in this time of tragedy.

-----------------------------------

I, myself, cannot believe this tragic event. Right now I am... stunned, shocked, confused, saddened, and angered by this news.
I just can't bring myself to type anymore. Such a tragic loss, maybe I'll be able to post more about how I truely feel about him when I'm more stable. As for right now... that won't be happening.

I couldn't agree with you more. Also Edge's testimonial was by far the most touching in my opinion. Edge said that in the WWE he had three people that he felt he could go to about anything, and now two of them were gone. Chris and Eddie are together again in heaven, celebrating in the middle of the ring like at Wrestlemania XX.
We'll all miss you Rabid Wolverine...
Edit: I know how you feel, when I first read it I couldn't believe it...I almost cried. Watching Raw now I still feel like I might.

I didn't like Benoit that much, except for that fact that he was brutal, bleeding, toothless-from-my-country son of a gun. I don't feel Benoit as much as a loss that Eddie was; Eddie was very charismatic and knew how to use the mic and the crowd. But Benoit still had some great matches ahead of him. My favorite feud he had was with Y2J. I remember watching Chris on Smackdown I believe do a Dr Seuss "I will not fight..."

Benoit's death part of a double murder-suicide
Written: June 25, 2007

According to lead investigator Lt. Tommy Pope, of the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department, in Fayetteville, Ga., the deaths of WWE Superstar Chris Benoit, wife Nancy and son Daniel were the result of a double murder-suicide, WWE.com has learned.

Benoit failed to appear both at Saturday’s live event in Beaumont, Tx., and WWE’s Vengeance: Night of Champions in Houston Sunday night, after informing WWE of a family emergency. Several curious text messages sent by Benoit early Sunday morning prompted concerned friends to alert Richard Hering, VP of Government Relations for WWE, Inc. Hering, in turn, spoke with Fayette County sheriffs Monday, and requested that they respond to the Benoit residence to check on him and his family.

Authorities representing the Sheriff’s Department initially had a difficult time entering Benoit’s new Fayetteville home Monday afternoon, which had been guarded by two large German Shepherds roaming freely around the property. Once authorities entered the residence, they quickly located the bodies of Benoit, Nancy and Daniel. WWE was notified of the discovery at approximately 4 p.m.

At 10 p.m. Monday night, Lt. Pope held a press conference in conjunction with Scott Ballard, the district attorney for Fayette County. The press conference officially ruled authorities’ findings as a double murder-suicide from within the home.

WAGA, a FOX-owned and operated television station in Atlanta, reported that investigators believe Benoit killed his wife and 7-year-old son over the weekend, then himself on Monday.

The three bodies have been received by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s crime lab, in Decatur, Ga., where autopsies will be performed Tuesday morning. Toxicology reports will not become available for at least two weeks.

WWE.com has further information relating to both the investigation and the cause of death, but the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department has requested that WWE.com not release any additional details at this time.

I truly hope that it isn't Benoit who killed his family and then himself. It would be a terrible end to someone who had such a career as himself.
