Being athletic doesn't mean a wrestler is better than another who is not as athletics. In that case you'd be saying that the Hurricane is a better wrestler than the Big Show. I was only giving a few examples. I wasn't planning to type out a whole list of better wrestlers. If I did Rey Mysterio would be in there.

And The People's Elbow, and the 5 Knuckle Shuffle are equal in everyway. Quote:
And yes, the Hurricane is a better wrestler than the Big Show. |

Yes, so many spectulator events happen in that era like Stone Cold getting ran over, DX's bus getting smashed, hardcore championship on the line 24/7, Angle spraying the alliance with the milk truck, Austin's beer truck, Backstage fighting almost everytime, etc those moments were invigorating! Although I still like WWE today, its just that its not superior to the atitude era(1998-2001). |

The characters are totally different. Rock was just a guy with personality. Cena was a ripoff of Eminem. That might have given Cena an initial burst of popularity, but that's not a gimmick that can go on forever. Once stripped of it, he's got nothing. His promos were only entertaining when he would freestyle everything he had to say. Can't do that anymore, without the rapper character. So, he comes off as just being another guy that yells and screams. Rock didn't have that problem; he had the same character all throughout, and his promo style fit it perfectly. Another problem is the things said in promos; most of the outlandish things Rock would come up with hadn't been heard before on tv wrestling (for instance, I'll bet Gorilla Monsoon never mentioned "poontang" on commentary). But everything Cena says is just "same old shit". Big problem is most of what the guys say is written for them by some poindexter on the creative staff; everyone's promos end up being the same, since one guy will write for 5 or 6 wrestlers. In Rock's time, they didn't have that. Wrestlers had to come up with their own lines, so everyone was pretty much unique. And in the ring, even though their moves may be similar, the way they lay out their matches is not. Rock was capable of doing a two-move match, and have it come off as the most dramatic thing ever seen (look at matches against Undertaker, Hogan, Austin, Trips, Foley...it wasn't the moves done, it was the "feeling" of the matches that made them great). Cena cannot. All his matches end up with a bland quality, no matter how many times he "Supermans up" and goes stomping around the ring. It also doesn't help that Cena's character is a one-trick pony. You can only do so many things with "I'll never back, I'll never quit!!" and "beating the odds". It doesn't allow a whole lot of variety. Rock's character didn't have that problem. He could be a hero, a hardcore badass, or a chickenshit heel, all while keeping the overall theme of his character. Cena can't, unless he changes his character completely. Those are a few things that contribute to one man being more popular than the other, despite a similar set of in-ring moves. |

The People's Elbow was invented before the 5 Knuckle Shuffle so Cena copied off The Rock. You can't be serious. Hurricane better than the Big Show? A 500 pound wrestler dropkicking someone is better than a guy who is incredibly boring and has no charisma.

Is Stephanie going to be behind the camera now for good? I know that she had to 'quit' cos she didn't beat Vince ect ect. But a comeback with her beside Triple H's side would be cool!
Oh and is anyone else hopig that Chyna comes back, just to see her face off against Beth Phoenix? Or just come back in general cos Womens Wrestling these days is a joke! |

A DX revival would be brillant!
Then Stephanie couldn't come back really with Triple H because well...him and Chyna use to be together and there was a ruckus about it. |
