Lucrecia groaned into her hand slightly at the comment, as though exasperated, for reasons beyond Khase’s influence.

‘Does everyone around here have to be on a first name basis? Annoying…’ Was there some reason these beings didn’t seem content with just doing a good deed for a stranger, without attempting to get into a drawn out conversation? The same thing had happened earlier, with that saiyan…

Recalling his comment about her aura, Lucrecia focused for a moment; if any had paid attention, they would have noticed her power shrink, though the degree by which it did was so minute, it would be below ones attention… simply put, she should in theory, have appeared to be nothing more than a regular human. Best to avoid needless influences…

“Lucrecia,” she mumbled, pulling her own cigarette out of the box and raising it to her lips. There was a tiny crackle of power, a spark of ki and, without need for a lighter, a burning cigarette.

Ryuu no Midori~

Midori had escaped the oni of the Northern Wilderness, and had found himself entering the vicinity of the North region of West City. Wandering for a while, he saw many creatures. Midori saw Saiyajins, Namekians, Kaioshins, it was amazing. Midori had never seen somewhere so, varied. It was unbelievable.

Midori needed to rest, and upon that minute, it glanced his eye... a public house. Midori beamed, he adored these places, centers of activity and merry banter; communities of people achieving vast states of mental incompetence, by the repeated use of fermented vegetable drinks. Midori loved it. Midori stepped up, and pushed the door wide, the display the community indulging in their merry activity.

Midori walked up to the bar and placed his arm upon it, looked at the bartender, and ordered his beverage.

"Rum and coke my good man."

Midori turned to face the wideview of the entire floor, watching the local residents; some gambling, some talking, some participating in drinking games, some even arm wresling, Midori loved the atmosphere.

The only sign that Lucrecia noticed or cared about Kahse’s departure was that small sound, and a vague, half-hearted sort of hand gesture, before returning to resting her cheek in her hand and staring at her glass. There never seemed anything to do here; things were either ‘fight, fight, fight!’ or so borin-

‘Or not,’ she mentally remarked as Freon fell into the seat beside her; normally she would have ignored him, however, her eyes had been caught off-guard by his horns, and then by his face, one that was oddly similar to that of the famed Freiza. Identical, one might say. Interesting.

Even if that was how she felt, however, the woman’s face remained impassive with boredom, and she addressed him without turning to look in his direction.
“Not used to alcohol, huh? Idiot…”

Blind drunk, and awakening from a short slumber, Raitro staggered onto his feet and slowly made his way towards the female Kai. His hormones were on fire, a feeling so deep it provoked him to want to rape her where she stood. Alas, even for a dunk, he felt that would have been a bit harsh. So instead, he leaped forward and attempted a bear hug. IF he succeeded, he would experience her warmth. If he missed, he'd go head first into the Bartenders area.

OOC- Good God, this place is desolate. Allright. In response to this gross inactivity, I am hereby shutting down the West City subforum until further notice. All topics will be closed and- naw, I'm just fuckin' with ya. What I'm gonna do is, I'mma steal an idea from a few eras ago and recycle it to revive this God-forsaken dump heap. That's right, with backing from Vivi, I bring to you the 2nd RPG-Wide Character Karaoke Contest!

This will be a bit different than before, though, as there will actually be defined rules, a voting poll at the end, and prizes. This is how it'll go down:

1. The entrance fee is $500.

2. You must choose a song and paste the lyrics here, along with a music video or sound file if you wish to make the experience more "auditory" (this might help).

3. You are expected to RP your character as he or she sings the song, and elaborate on their thoughts, emotions, and actions as they sing out the lyrics.

4. You begin by posting your character signing up, stating the song they wish to sing, handing over the entrance fee, etc. I will use this to compile a list in this post of who's singing what, and in what order. You have today (6/25/08) and tomorrow (6/26/08) to sign up. If more time is needed, I will leave the registrations open for longer.

5. You will have five days to look over the RPs of other members as well as post your own. After the five days is up, voting begins. Since I'll be choosing the order, I'm afraid you don't get to pick when you go, so it's important that you tell me if you have schedule problems with where I placed you. It's also important that you post on-schedule, so as not to hold up others behind you.

6. During the voting phase, I will open up a temporary new topic with a poll listing the participants (if there are too many, I can make multiple polls). Voting WILL be public, so people will get to see who you voted for. Do NOT, under ANY circumstances vote for yourself. Participants may vote, but only for other participants. Non-participants are also, of course, free to vote. Voting lasts three days- NO EXCEPTIONS. Voting will be based on several things:

RPing quality.
Song choice.
Creativity.
Most dramatic/epic style.

7. The top three winners will receive prizes. First prize is the collective entrance fees paid by all participants; it is pooled together as the prize money for winning the contest and given to the one with the most votes. Prizes for second and third place are pending, as are other prizes for first place (I'll work this out with Vivi).

Whatever the reason, Lucrecia shrugged and rose out of her seat, just as the saiyan crashed into it… with disastrous consequences for himself, no doubt. For her part, the kai seemed unconcerned, and simply leaned against the bar for a moment, rubbing her cheek blearily, in a manner close to boredom. Things seemed to go from ‘extremely interesting’ to ‘mind-numbingly dull’ around here…

"Looks like we sing a song." Abbath growls as he thinks of a song.

"Ugh 500$, well umm I guess I can do it." Abbath says as he pulls out his money, and begins to walk toward the sign ups.

He gives the guy the money and adds his name to the list then sits back down.
