Island of 1,000 Condiments

The woods consisted of blood splattered oak, with crisped bark. The surrounding region was nothing but swamp-like forest with the corpses of hundreds impaled against the branches of the mighty oaks. Demonic beasts hanged from ropes. Some were split open. Some were burnt alive. Others were skeletons whose flesh was torn and eaten from their bones. Odd markings in blood also appeared on the boulders, trees, and anything large enough to attract attention. It was in a forgotten, demonic tongue, one of which only an immortal could read. When translated, they appeared to be various warnings or threats, depending on the interpreter, "The mist is drawing close. Water is up ahead," rang the voice of the elder, Velox, "The natives of Bahko... their tribes are close. I’d best avoid them. Otherwise..."

"Hm?" the sage questioned.
