The fist connected with a loud smack, sending the taller and elder Saiya-jin back quite some distance. Before he knew it, he rolled several times on his side, coming to a halt on his back. For several moments, he remained there, looking up into the sky.

"Tell me... How the hell are you so strong? I'm most likely twice your age, but you seem to be doing much greater damage."

OOC: Only thing I could come up with. >_>

"I was trained in marital arts, where I learned to attack a lot more with my physical attacks than my energy attacks, therefore making me slower than you, yet my physical attacks are still about as good as your speed. And, a loss in my focus ability." Corey said, explaining the only explanation he could think of, based on the observations he had made during the fight.

"I see," he merely muttered as he sat up, turning his head to face the boy. When he stood on his feet, he shrugged off his thoughts and moved his leg back, crouching into a fighting stance. "If that's how it is, so be it."

A silent step could be heard when one of his booted feet tapped against the grass. Then, mysteriously, his body had vanished. At both of Corey's sides, Mato flew at him with his fist cocked back, tossing it forward at an attempt to hit both of the child's cheeks.

OOC: New attack Patto used. 5,325 - 200 = 5,125.

Corey looked at his sides, right, then left, and immediately wondered how his opponent could be in two places at once, at least until he remembered Mato had extreme amounts of speed. It could be one or the other. One could be a simple afterimage or illusion, while the other could be real. In the end, he could not decide, and was hit, however, one mysteriously went through him, and the one that was real was very painful and sent him flying in the direction of that punch. He flew for several yards before halting himself by putting a hand to the floor and skidding for another few feet.

Thinking quickly, he put a hand out in front of him, and a barrage of ki waves were sent at the opponent.

OOC: Renzoku Energy Dan used.

When the boy shot his energy off towards the Saiya-jin, he had took a few steps forward before his body began to blur once again. He appeared twice, to the left and right, before bursting forward--and, ultimately, around the ki attack. The two illusions that were left behind only served as distractions for Corey to attack, while he went through the center and tossed his fist forward once more.

OOC: Speed Blur and Patto x2 used. 5,125 - 400 = 4,725.

OOC: *sees Mato's Agility stat* That's not even funny...

Corey was once again, confused. There were two, and he was almost sure they were illusions this time. They could be rushing at him like this. Frustrated, Corey yelled: "I will not go down! KAIOKEN!!"

The same doubling of his power occured, and Corey charged straight ahead, putting his own fist up to match Mato's, the two about to collide...

Instead of taking the attack head on and trying to neutralize the damage, which he knew he wouldn't be able to do with the power difference between the two, Mato extended his enclosed fist out, using his fingers to touch the top of Corey's hand--all of this possible because of his greater speed and, as a result of being used to it, being able to see through the high speeds. His fingers soon pushed off of the young Saiya-jin's backhand, making the elder fly over the tiny body and land behind him. When he landed, he took a step back towards Corey and thrusted a foot towards the back of the boy.

Corey didn't notice the elder flipping straight over him until it was too late; the kick to the back would have shattered the spine of an average human or Saiyan kid, but Corey was no average kid of any sorts. He was still sent flying a considerable distance away, back first. It took him a while to clear the flying birds around his head, but when he did, he then charged his opponent again, the Kaioken x2 still active, and attempted a flying kick.

"Haha, when I'm in this state, it's impossible to defeat me with head-on attacks, boy!" Mato chuckled, tossing his arms to the side and leaving his chest open. He was right, as long as he had the speed, there was no way Corey, with his Kaioken boost, could touch him. However, Mato had to be careful. If an attack did connect, it would be twice as powerful--something Mato wasn't willing to deal with. When Corey was close enough, the wild-haired Saiya-jin flipped over him and turned 180 degrees in the air, sending both of his feet down and one continuing towards the back of his head.

OOC: Speed Blur is gone after that attack, obviously.

Corey couldn't believe the speed... obviously, like the Kaioken, whatever his opponent was using, it increased speed. Corey simply was not able to keep up, given his present state. In the middle of this internal thought, Corey had the back of his head beaten in by a foot, which caused him to stumble forward. His Kaioken fluctuated for a little bit, but regained itself, for the one last attack. He was still quite a bit away. For a moment, he stood still, facing the ground, as if deciding what to do, then, without any warning, a kick was sent at the face of his opponent.

The kick connected with the chin of Mato, sending him up into the air. The only thought that raced through his mind as he flew uncontrollably was the pain that shot through his body. It felt as if he were just ready to roll over and die, pass on and meet up with his old comrades. In the middle of the sudden rush of thoughts overflowing his mind--as if they were all a large crowd, with one loud child yelling in the middle for everyone's attention--he had finally realized something.

This was just a kid. If he could defeat countless alien warriors that were out for his head, then flee and survive, a mere child was nothing. A power difference didn't stop him when he saw the colossal aliens swinging at him. It surely didn't stop him when he was bleeding profusely, trying to get away from another from the race.

Using the momentum from the attack, Mato flipped his body around and aimed towards Corey. Crimson ki swarmed his body, twirling around him like a tornado. His body flew directly down at the floor, before curving and flying inches over the ground, picking up dirt into the ki.

OOC: Saiya-jin Senpuu. 4,725 - 300 = 4,425.

Corey didn't see this coming-- he rose his arms to defend, but was ultimately swept up, his Kaioken having worn off only a fraction of a second before the attack, and thrown up through the air, bleeding. He landed a few meters away, breathing hard.

"I won't... lose... yet..." Corey murmured. Suddenly, he crouched down, a hand stiffly brought down. He crouched down. Suddenly, lightning surged through the general area of the battle. A lightning ring appeared near his feet, and the sound of 1,000 birds chirping became apparent. "Chidori."

His desperation move charged up, and before long, Corey charged his opponent--it was too bad his Kaioken had worn off--but he still was going for it... his aim was not to kill, so he aimed to just hit in a non-killing place.

OOC: My aim isn't to kill--yet. Probably won't be, but if this is a "fight to the death", have it made clear to my character--obviously he hasn't killed anyone human he has fought with so far... Also, Corey's stats have been updated. As of 12:00 AM here, it became a new day. New move=Inexperienced Chidori. Also, Stat Updates:

OOC: My posts may come slower and slower from here on. Alot of shit went down today, and I'm in the middle of looking for a job.

"Ah, shi--" the man had started when he saw--pretty much, what he summed down to--"a lightning bolt heading straight for his body." From being so far away, currently, Mato couldn't tell whether the damage would be fatal or not--not that he wanted to find out either way. He smirked slightly.

His hands moved up to cover his eyes, with each of his fingers spread out over his face. Through his middle and index fingers of both hands, the pupils of his eyes could be seen, focusing on the small boy that continued to dash at him. He didn't care though, his response was coming soon enough. A "Tayoken!" escaped the throat of the Saiya-jin, releasing an amount of ki that took the form of pure light, to blind Corey--who, practically, couldn't do anything about it, as he had to keep an eye on Mato to know where to attack.

After performing the Solar Flare technique, Mato's body suddenly rocketed into the air, many yards above where he once stood. When he stopped and began to fall, he tossed his hands to his side, cupping them, before flinging them forward.

"Galic-ho!" he yelled, the massive, purple wave escaping his arms once again, heading down towards the boy.

OOC: Mass ki lost this post, I think. At least, the most we've used in the entire fight, in any single post. Solar Flare, Enka Chakushu, and Galic Gun all used. 4,425 - 425 = 4,000.

The boy was blinded, therefore, he couldn't see what was going on. As he released the Chidori, a sound, very similar to energy rushing straight at him, was apparent. He raised his arms to block in the direction of the energy wave. The wave caused him to dig into the ground, until, finally, he muttered, placing his hands cupped in front of him (as if he had just blasted a Kamehameha wave): "Kamehame..." then the yell "HA!!!" The ki wave tore forward, pushing it to midway between the two, before stopping there.

OOC: Corey still took damage, though... ki waves burn.

"Heh. Listening to where the sound of an attack was coming from. Only real warriors are able to do that," Mato bragged--though, not about himself--to the boy, when his feet gently touched the grass, a silent tap being produced. He took a few steps towards Corey, crossing his arms over his chest.

"How long do you plan on keeping this up? You don't think you have a chance at actually winning, do you?"
