I don't really read much around here. Don't read much in general lately. Do far more writting than reading. ^^' And while I don't know who this 'Chelsee' is I doubt she's as good as the likes of The Smooster or Burenda. Now that's some good stuff (not on here, but you can find them on FFnet if you look). ^^

I'd make a list of my top favorites here, but it'd be a really short list, so I wont. Though, what I'd like to know, is how many of you guys try your hands at original stories? And, on top of that, how many of you are insane enough to tackle NaNoWriMo? >_>

JC, although you mentioned Manic and Twitch in your second tier of writers (below Elite), Manic's fics ARE Elite and some of Twitch's old ones were (banned handle now.)

I think the people whom I am a fan of know it already.

im surprised people dont realise how great twitch and manic's work was.... its sad because they were scared of their no-bullshit attitude some people didnt even bother reading their fics because of their name.

I would class their fics as two of the best on mfg... without even thinking twice. Sure its written in a different style but it holds its own easily, has interesting characters and just owns all-round. However few people read it v_v

Pivitor of course gets brownie points... i mean he outclassed TOEI and produced a great GT remake that had chapters to rival dictionaries! The ultimate cruise also has a great style of writing and flow to it... even his non-action chaps keep you entertained... though i wouldnt mind seeing an original, just what lurks in the deep dark corners of pivitors mind.

7th son... he had a nice writing sense but im sad to say that he was a lil over-rated. Some people praised his fics like they were a friggin bible, i read them and whislt i did find them enjoyable i dont think they were as great as some people preached them to be.

Amerowolf was also another writer that i liked reading. Her fics (specially the one bout goten), were good in an action and thinking sense...

Another classic would be Sylvia... i really like a saiyan's tales... though i found the later adventures (with the battle in the collesium or whatever) were lacking compared to the start saga's. However were definately a good read... sadly we had to take them off due to her request so you cant read em now v_v but we mods can [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif[/img]

Xyex has done incredible as well... i mean the twists and such he puts into dbz surprise me and his writing sense and skill is top as well. Of Angels and Demons was great, as was the x-men dbz clash.... though like piv i wouldnt mind seeing hte spawn of his own imagination in characters and such...

In the same sense ive also read fics that dont have the depth of writing as others but still hold an interesting story... and vica-versa... i couldnt really list favourites as i would always forget one and each person likes fics different; that and i havnt read every fic on here... i mean im not pivitor, whoops meant im not god, slip of hte tongue there XD

M13D stands for Marshmellow13Dragon. One of my other favorite fan fic writers. Though she changed her name to MarshmellowDragon. It's a habbit to say M13D.

And I'll post the links to Chelsee and M13D's stories. It isn't to another forum so I don't think it's a against the rules. But if it is. delete the links.

Chelsee's best story, 41 chapters = Contradicting Mission

Her best work. And actually read at least the first few paragraphs. Don't read the first line and say she sucks.

And M13D's best story. It's a Tenchi Muyo/DBZ x-over. Not complete yet.= Not Here

And I don't really loose interest. But gain more interest in another. Or reach an onlasting writer's block. Like what I have now. But I'm continuing PMtT and GG. I'm completing those ones no matter what. Heh. I can't find my written Royal blue story! -.- curse them....I just don't want to post alot of my stories. Cause I like to only have 3 at the most stories that I write at the same time. Though write now it's only two.....^^

Haha, don't flatter me. I don't get around nearly as much as people think. I still read a lot, but I skim far more topics for an interesting story or anything in need of moderation. A rule of thumb is...if I've replied I've read it...although there were a few times where this wasn't true.

Anyway, Engel, thanks for the great compliments!

I was just thinking of Sylvia's stories, Engel. Seeds of Evil is what you're thinking of, mate. And I agree...some parts of the story dragged on longer than they should have near the end. It was still good though.

However, I preferred the two stories she just started before leaving (Mr. Satan's backstory and the hilarious Yu-Gi-Oh! parody.)

The Amerowolf part is true too. She's far underrated in writing; I really enjoyed that Gohan-going-beserk story, and I was a big fan of Inadequate as well.

Speaking of which, girl, whatever happened to that? Weren't you only a few chapters away from finishing it?

EDIT: As for an original story...Engel...I'm working on it. Even though I have NO idea what I want to do right now, I'm going to try for an Original after The Ultimate Cruise is complete...which will be a while (I'm looking at 25+ chapters as of now [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/happy.gif[/img] )


Also, GiMnY...I scanned over Chelsee's work. It's damn good...I don't know if she's the best ever or better than some of the people here yet, but she's certainly talented. That's obvious just from a glance.

But...still...enough with the praise already. All that bragging will make the people here hate her before they give her a chance (or perhaps you, since your behavior associates over to her.)

As for Twitch and Manics work, I think Engel hit the nail on the head there. A lot of people either don't like them or are afriad of them. Don't see why Twitch a really a big pink fuzzy teddy bear( [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif[/img] ). Anyway, both of thier fics are very good, didn't get around to reading a few of Manic's fics as much as I did Twitchs'...But they were good, real hardcore action with a nice sense of darkness to it.

Well... every story I've made was original. I don't know why, but making fan-fictions just ain't... me. Original is best for me. But one day, don't suprised if a DBZ-fic made by me comes along. And thanks to JC (even though I kinda forced him) Majinkei and Mega Cartman for mentioning me. Would make list, but can't be bothered.

But, yeah, I had fan fictions in the elite section, but ended up asking Sylvia to delete them for me, since I didn't really like the stories themselves.

Imperfection? was my first story, and was a big hit, but I hated it harder than a burning s**t after a night with a jar of jalapeno peppers. And the others, I liked the concept, but not the way they were done, so .. figure that one out.

Manic

I liked my stories as I wrote them, so those memories of me liking them remain...

However, I'm sure if I went and read back over them, I'd either hate them, or develop the urge to re-write all of them and continue on.

(Oh god, please don't urge me to read them. I'm busy as it is.)

Er, I put both Manic AND Twitch as elites. Not sure what you're tryin' to say, but I did classify them as elite. o_O

Oh, and GiMny, did you join the friggin' Gohan fanclub over at FF.net?! "Gohan Gohan Gohan" .............. All I see is "Gohan" in these fics! o_O;

Anyway, Chelsee is definitely good, though grammar-wise, she's about my level. She's definitely a bit better than 7th_Son description-wise, and the way she can create such a story so unique as that one is amazing. However, MarshmellowDragon is also good. Probably about the same level as Shadow_Gohan (sorry, but Demon King Akira has the best story of all original fics ever, IMO; it might be on FF.net). You're right. I wouldn't stand much of a chance. (T-T)

EDIT: One thing about "M13D" I noticed, I don't really like. She had Gohan thinking of suicide. Not Gohan's style in the least. Gohan is a coward who clings to life, only truly becoming a hero when he grows up. But pre-Cell Games Gohan is just.........no. He wouldn't even THINK of suicide. Much too deep for Gohan. Didn't really fit.

Though just wait until I reach the revamped version of Cojin vs. Eagle in EU. Heh heh heh.............

Speaking of which, I shall now go and write more.

(sighs) So many people don't understand that...Gohan wanting to kill himself seems very suited to me. This is after the Cell Games. And a lot of people on FF.N don't like the way that Akira just made Gohan the same after Goku's death. So they change his personality. One thing I do sorta like. I do prefer fics where Gohan doesn't act like he did in the series. "AU"s are my favorites. I like when they make Gohan more in depth. THey get a better look on how he SHOULD feel in the series/manga. But that's one think I like about stories. More description! ^^

And original works aren't posted on FF.N. They're posted at FF.N's companion site, FictionPress.com. That place is for originals only.

I think Chelsee has good grammer. (nods) At least she doesn't mispell "I", I've seen it happen....A lot......^^

No. You wouldn't stand a chance. I wouldn't stand a chance against Chelsee at all but if me and M13D ever went up against each other She'd beat me by a few votes instead of it being me= zip, other= all. heheheh......^^

And yes I did join the fanclub. If there was one. I read only Gohan stories. Which is easy seeing how organized FF.N is. Met everyone I know because I reviewed a story they wrote about Gohan. ^^

But I doubt you read the entire CM story. I've tried to read the entire thing in one day. Had to quit cause my eyes hurt. -.- But her story really gets good....^^ love it all to bits.
