Golden Sun: Alchemy Unleashed (Fan RPG)

I got the idea from JAIF's topic so, at least some of the credit goes for him.

This is a fan role playing game based on the theoretical sequel for the two Golden Sun games for the Game Boy Advanced. For those who are unfamiliar with the games go look them up on wiki (for storyline), Golden Sun Universe (for more a more detailed version) and GameFAQs (for game scripts), it should fill you in.

Story: It has been 3 years since the fall of Vale, and now New Vale has finally been built. People have come from all over Weyard to help with the reconstruction, some have even ended up staying as permanent residents. Our heroes have went their separate ways for the time being, Isaac, Garet, Jenna and Felix have went off to visit Prox. Mia, Piers, Ivan and Sheba have went back to their respective lighthouses of Mercury and Jupiter. Kraden remained behind, to pass on his wisdom to the next generation in hopes to create teams similar to Isaac and Felix's groups in the past.

He has posted an announcement at the billboard and you one of the people who are interested to join in one of Kraden's Psyenergy Classes. You arrive at the written time at place, midday in front of the wise old man's house. There is a large grassy area in front of the house where many chairs and tables are put in a way to form and outside classroom, the trees around it acting like the walls, and the front of the house as the front of the classroom. Here, you will meet with several people who have done the same, friends and strangers alike.

Name: First Name (nickname in brackets, which can be a shortened version of the first name), do not include a last name please
Age: 11-15. inclusive
Gender: Male or Female
Appearance: A link to a picture and or a description, It’ll be best that your character’s hair and or attire be fitting with their adept class, so yellow/gold for Venus, red/orange for Mars, grey/purple for Jupiter, and blue/white for Mercury
Adept Class: Venus Adept, Mars Adept, Jupiter Adept, or Mercury Adept

Introductory Role Play: Role play your character entering the classroom, you may post as many times as you'd like as long as you don't double post. To make it as fun and realistic as possible, you can do whatever you want pretty much, socialise, start fights (this includes the teacher Kraden himself if you really have to, though you'll be regretting it I assure you XD). Just nothing explicit, and that's a general forum rule, so a big no no to that. If you choose to do so, you can have yourself and another (or more people) know each other already (as friends, rivals, or enemies) as long as you have that person's permission.

Adept Classes

Venus Adepts have the ability to manipulate the earth and plants
Mars Adepts have the ability to manipulate fire, heat and lava
Jupiter Adepts have the ability to manipulate wind and thunder/lightning
Mercury Adepts have the ability to manipulate water and ice

I would usually ask of personality and biography as well, but I’ll leave it up to you to reveal it when you want to. Take note, you won’t know about your Adept Class yet so don’t mention it as if you do. I’m only asking for it in the application so I can organise everyone into teams, which will be an important part of the story.

Below are the list of the current accepted Adepts, but to keep things evened out, there can not be two more of the lowest number of accepted adepts for one particular class, so for example you cannot sign up to be a Venus Adept if there are two already and only one Mars Adept, that slot has to be filled in first before you can do that.

Teams:

Eventually, everyone who is accepted will be split into teams of four, with each member having a different Adept Class. Now to make things easier on me and you, it’ll be best that you’re already in a group of four when you sign up. Teams would take first priority over any other application, so PM me the following when you're ready and you'll be assured of a spot with your chosen Adept Class.

Team Name: If you've come up with a team name already, go put it here.
Team Members: Member Name (Member Adept Class), do this for all three other members, and make sure their Adept Classes and yours are all different otherwise I won't accept it.

If you don't find yourself in a group, don't worry about it. You should be put in a team with others that are also not in a group when things are finalised, we'll even have some NPCs put in to fill up the gaps in the teams. Here are a list of accepted teams:

I'm sure I cannot run this by myself forever, so I'll need some helpers just in case. The people accepted will either be taking over for me when I'm unable to post when it comes to story events and battles, or role-playing additional Adepts in order to fill out teams.

How much do you know about Golden Sun? How much have you played of it, and how familiar are you with the storyline? It's most likely you'll have more knowledge than me, so if it's the case then you'll be helping out with the story specifics as the RPG goes along.
Role Play Sample: Just role play the following scene out here, it doesn't have to be amazing but it has to be enough to send a clear enough picture to what is happening so there's no confusion, that's all I require. If you pass, then you'll be able to take over battles for me on the go.
Are you willing to RP two characters at once?: Be honest about this one too, if it's a ye then you'd probably end up taking control of an additional character to fill in the gaps for teams. Make sure you're sure that you have the time and motivation to do this.

"So this is Kraden's house huh? He lives behind an outdoor classroom? Nah, can't be" Venn thought as he entered the area, it was a good view none the less. He felt very close to nature here, and anticipated what would happen when the class started. He was interested in this Psyenergy and Alchemy stuff, and wondered if he could be a great Adept like the ones from Vale. "Now, to just wait for the others to show up" he muttered as he sat on a table. There was no one here yet, and it wasn't a surprise, he came early for some reason.

Introductory Role Play: Vivi stepped forward, cautiously, surveying the large classroom. The first thing to be noticed was the fact that he was not the only one in the room. A slight unconscious shrug was the only thing to be read from his expressions, he tentatively waddled in looking for a place to stand. Noticing a small, wooden closet in a back corner, Vivi decided this was most obviously the best place to be located. A loud creak rang out as his gloved hand pulled open the thin frame. Although a tad suffocating, it was the perfect place to observe people that entered, without worrying about socializing.

Isaac slowly sauntered into the classroom, taking in every minute detail and quickly analyzing the situation. He had always been very analytical, and was extremely aware of everything around him. He also hated when people would compare him to the other Isaac, the one who had inherited Alchemic power from the Great Wise One. Just because his parents had been dumb enough to name their son the same thing as the "hero" of Weyard didn't mean that he should take the heat!

"Man!" he thought as he entered the near empty classroom, "What is everyone's problem, anyway? I mean, I didn't name myself! My idiot parents did!"

His long, bright yellow hair kept falling into his face, making him push it back. As he was surveying the room, his eyes fell upon the only face he could see. He flinched.

"Could it be...?" Isaac thought, "No way! It can't be!"

Isaac quickly looked away from the young man sitting on the table and went over to the desk in the farthest corner...

Introduction
Rikken looked around the classroom area, observing those who had already arrived. He ran a hand through his long brown hair, and sighed. He'd been up to Kraden's before, but for some reason things felt different today - like the start of something big.

In truth, Rikken had only shown up out of boredom. Of course, he had always shown a certain affinity for psyenergy as many of those living in Vale did, but to be honest he had never shown a great interest in it. Alas, times were quiet and the young boy's inquisitive mind had finally gotten the better of him, leading him to Kraden's home.

Isaac Roberts of Vale

Isaac was here because he was curious. Ever since he was little, he'd had strange powers. He couldn't think of how many times he had had something strange happen to him. Like, once, a pot had exploded when he'd been angry at his parents. And, after the Golden Sun had risen, he had been so excited that he had made a pile of leaves and sticks blow up into the air and fall like rain all over the town of Vault! Man, that had been great! Since the rising of the Golden Sun, his parents had been going on a mile a minute: "Psynergy this! Alchemy that!" It had been getting on his nerves! Until he had heard of this class. He remembered the first thought that had passed through his head...

"Maybe I can learn to control these strange events in my life!"

The "events" were all Psynergy-related, he knew now, and he was completely consumed by the desire to hone these skills that he had apparently inherited. Would it be easy? Of course, he also knew that it wasn't going to be like walking to the market! Would it be fun? Maybe, if he could get past everyone comparing him to the other Isaac, the hero. Would he be powerful? He hoped so!

Isaac snapped out of his reverie as the next student came in...
